The guy who left a comment about signing a world class striker like Eto'o or Benzema. LOL. These type of fans worry me.

Truly top strikers such as Eto'o are completely out of reach, but I don't get the hype with Benzema. He definently isn't a player out of our reach, he is playing for Lyon who are a good side but not really a top team and has never played outside France... Can't see a Barca or a Utd gambling on him for atleast a couple more years tbh so if he wants a step up in quality are we really such a bad option? thats just my opinion tbh tho....

I think most Spurs fans feel the same though whether they're on SC or not - we need more stability in our squad after so many change which hasn't exactly helped us. They may not be the 'players to take us to the holy land of the top 4' but even just playing together more often in the same starting 11 every week will improve performances. This summer we have a better chance of holding on to key players than in the past, and we do have a limited budget this summer after splashing out in January, so I hope Harry feels the same and doesn't tweak too much.

But of course, as soon as we go on a bad run everyone will be demanding new players this summer

Yep great article.

Bent isn't perfect, but we could replace him with someone who can't score 15 goals in a season. Pavlyuchenko hasn't been perfect but we could replace him with a no hoper or someone else that takes a year to settle.

We just need to start with a settled team, a team that knows eachother, at the moment we're clicking and if we start next season with this lineup, I'll be happy.

didn't rate the article that much - no real passion for the club came through - just a sort of self-mocking

it's fair enough if you like that sort of thing but I prefer posters and fans who are more positive in their outlook

I don't know anything about the guy, but I bet he spends most of every game he goes to analysing the match rather than cheering and singing for the team

may be completely wrong of course he might be a real passionate cheerer and singing type - if so apologies

I think a lot of my reaction also comes from the fact that I never go on 365 but whenever there's an article from it posted on here I find it negative or lukewarm about spurs

Premier league been so bad? Really? Its not due to the overall competitiveness of all the teams?

F365 is very anti-spurs, they all pounce on any positivity from spurs fans as delusional so i'm not surprised the writer took a more self-mocking stance

Totally agree, he's just trying to save himself from some abuse. Although he gets some in the mailbox anyway. To be fair F365 are pretty anti every team as they try to get a reaction from people.

cheers for the info ly & ty - it pretty much chimes in with what I think of 365 so probably I was a bit harsh on the writer and apologies if he ever reads my critique :)

but hey don't write for them - as far as spurs is concerned they seem to serve no useful purpose

The bias on F365 against spurs is very extreme though, much more than any other team except perhaps liverpool to an extent (since there are so many utd WUMs and the gooner WUMs have no life). From the census on their forum, spurs have the fifth largest set of fans on there but arsenal and man utd both have at least twice as many and we've given them far too much ammunition this year.

Aren't either Man U, Barca or Real Madrid rumoured to be in for him this summer though?

Benzema is always linked to a CL club, but tbh I've only seen flashes of brilliance from him and he does seem to have a poor attitude (ben arfa is far worse though) and he hasn't been prolific for france (1 in 4 or something). But he's definitely out of our reach and glamor signings could easily flop here anyways.

I wouldn't want him anyways, would be more interested in perhaps us getting in a hard working 6 foot target man type who can hold the ball up.

Well, why not hey? Let's not sign anyone and see what happens.

Probably do surprisingly well

A completely unrealistic article, I think there will be a number of departures. Mainly because Harry is still building his team, and dealing with the cards he has been dealt with from the previous regimes. Bent, Pav, Bentley, Gio, Hutton are five players who will almost certainly leave, with question marks over Hudd, Bale, Gunter.

Luckily for us Harry has got the core of the first XI already in place for August. Which gives us a stability we didn't have this time last season.

A completely unrealistic article.
Don't be silly. He says that he realises the futility of wishing for very little activity but nonetheless feels we'd be better off that way, and many of us agree with that. Me, for one. It's his opinion, not a prediction.

Agreed, Harry will probably want to continue moulding the squad to his specs - but that's no reason to keep schtum if you believe the squad is pretty good as it stands and that we could do wth some stability for its own sake.

You get fans from every team accusing F365 are anti-their team. they take the piss out of all teams. They are no more anti spurs than any other team.

If you've been on their forum, you'll find that Spurs are very much the most hated club on there, though not necessarily on their main page. While you'll get mocking for every team, the forum practically breaks down every time we lose with a hundred LOLSPURS threads and we get mocked in threads that don't even have anything to do with football all the time, unlike other clubs except for perhaps Newcastle atm since they're the comedy club of the week while we seem to be the joke club of all time. In match threads almost every single neutral wants us to lose, and it isn't helped by the fact that Arsenal fans are just about the largest group on there, barring Man Utd by a bit.
