No idea what the bitrate is but the quality I’m watching is as good as skytv games are

Look at dark spots like the sky or homogenous colours like the blue background on the Prime logo during the break. There's all sorts of banding.

And when there's fast moving action or a lot of stuff on screen then all hell breaks loose.

When the image is relatively still then it's not an issue.

Belting for me. 10 sec delay. Nice tidy layout and no gimmicks. Option to turn off the commentary but it's Glenn so keeping it on.

Very impressed this far.

As someone who uses dubious methods to stream games normally, I’m really impressed with the Amazon stream so far.
I’m running it through Xbox app as apparently the app on my tv isn’t compatible.

I cant understand the amount of people moaning about buffering its been absolutely flawless for me.
I guess its people on 5mbs adsl or with kids streaming YouTube/FaceTime/pornhub at the same time.

Yep the TV app is nowhere near is good quality wise as it is through my XBox.

go to display settings and set refresh rate to auto, and make sure the adaptive refresh rate thing is enabled.
You've probably got it set at 60Hz, these are 50 Hz streams.
