This happened in a pub I was in about 15 years ago. both the BBC and ITV had the England game (they’d been sharing the group games but both showed this knock out match) - Some bright spark at the pub opted to show BBC to one half and ITV to the other. At one point half the pub started cheering which caused a lot of “what the hell is that about?” looks only for 5seconds later for us to see the goal. Was very weird and got the landlord major grief

That has reminded me that it happened when I was in the pub too, but not for an England game. Was the CL final when Liverpool made their famous come back against Milan.

I've also come across something similar in pubs showing streams where the audio track is out of sync and in front of the video. Not only do you know before you see it whether there is going to be goal, you also know whether there's going to be a corner, whether you're going to have or miss a chance, whether you're going to lose possession etc.

The Phillips OLED934 has B&W Speakers. NICE! I do want to see a One Plus One TV in the uk

Yup and there's the option of adding a subwoofer which means you don't have to compromise as much on sound as you do with other TVs with integrated soundbars.

Having discovered my prime account I didn't know I had until today I have just watched the Stan & Ollie film, it's quite clever this 21st century isn't it.

Streaming the build up now. Great picture. Except it keeps blemishing into a smudgy, incoherent mess...

Oh wait, it's just Robbie Savage and Tim Sherwood.

Any way to check what the format is? Seems to be HD but can you watch in 4K?

On firestick the audio keeps running out of sync and sounds slightly distorted - My day job is running streams for conferences and events mostly looking after audio so I feel very unrelxaed right now

Also, why the fuck is the bitrate so low? They own the biggest server business on the planet and make 90% of their profits from that side hustle. They paid £100m for rights and 47 presenters and commentators. But the video bitrate is shit. All they had to do was turn the tap a little further at minimal cost to them.

Just wait until we're through on goal
In all seriousness Amazon's backbone is second to none, they have the largest infrastructure (aws) of any tech company out there.
If anyone's getting issues, it's between them and their ISP.

They're obviously playing it safe...the world's eyes are on them atm and they'll guarantee it works before worrying about the 1% of customers who can tell the difference between a 5mbs stream and a 10mps stream.

No idea what the bitrate is but the quality I’m watching is as good as skytv games are
