Dele Alli has hired his own personal nutritionist to try as he tries to stop the muscle injuries which have plagued his last 18 months.

Tottenham midfielder Dele, 23, is now on a strict diet to combat the problem after sustaining damage to his left hamstring four times in the last 18 months.

Neither of those
will materially affect
his fitness or injury problem
but if they indicate
a change of focus
all good.

I disagree. The yoga could help him stretch safely and improve his hamstring, and keep it stretched.

Think Brad Freidel used to use yoga & credited it with helping him to play as long as he did.

Encouraging news for me because he's finally starting to take care of himself.

I seriously doubt nutrition will save his hamstrings, but I guess this is positive news.

I get back pain and leg spasms from my hamstrings, yoga, better hydtration, not drinking alchol and a better diet will help him it may not solve the problem but his body will recover quicker and hopefully it will help.

At that level individual targeted nutrition will facilitate better muscle repair and moving forwards lessen further damage.
A few magnesium tablets won’t do much but loading specific diets and regular testing from a top nutritionist will help.

Ryan Giggs did a lot of Yoga apparently, which according to him may have extended his playing career by several years. I don't know about that, but it certainly could have made banging his brother's wife more interesting for him.

Yoga is great. I do it once a week before playing and it’s great.

Also diet can help, eating the right foods and getting the right nutrients makes a huge difference. Eating junk food will not give your body what it needs to repair, heal and be at its best, eating fruits, veg and nuts will give your body the nutrients it needs.
