His handling is his weak point but so we de geas at his age. His reactions are top notch and unlike lloris he can kick a ball. Reminds me of ter stegen a little.

Can I just ask - how many games of his have you watched?

I don't know, around 10. He was pretty good against Dortmund and pretty shocking against Leverkusen from those that I remember watching this season. I think we can find someone without howlers every other game.

I really want us to move for a top class number 2 that can push Lloris.

Gazza is a great number 3 and a adequate number 2. But adequate isn't quite good enough for a title challenging side.

He'd be going to be a backup, he already has the occasional howler in him so he needs to play every game to get that out of him.

Neuer is 34 in 4 months and has 12 months left on his contract. He isn't lasting forever. Nubel is only 23, try telling any German player they shouldn't go to Bayern.

Neuer is still a top keeper and supposedly about to renew his contract until 2023.

Even so, makes Nubel 26 when he does go. Still young for a keeper.
No keeper is going to come out as good as they should have been being a backup for 3 years. I'm not saying he's not going to Bayern but I don't personally think it would be a smart career move for him.

Personally think coming to us is better. Loris ain't got long left and gazzaniga is not good enough to be firdt choice. I always think German keepers are the best in terms of presence. Leno is quality. Ter Stegen. Nauer. Etc. Nubel has all the quality to be just as good imo and this type of deal suits us.

Bild have already reported he has agreed to join Bayern in the summer. So I think it's safe to rule this one out.

Is he though? He's just coming off of two bad injury plagued seasons. Many thought he might actually be done at the top level. This is actually the best he's looked in quite awhile.

I guess if I was Nubel I'd be asking how long is that going to last for?
