No, not a stupid sheep. I object to something that is being broadcast which I find actually offensive and damaging to thr club I love.
Don't listen to it and you won't have to object to it. Never listened to anything he's said, yet I know all about the fucker because people insist on creating threads to complain about him on an almost weekly basis.

We should start banning people who make threads about Durham. That way, those of us who are sensible enough to not listen to TalkShite don't have to have our SC experience tainted by other people who should know better.

I turned it on listened for 2 mins turned it off cos he was being a twat. If we all did that the advertising would dry up and he would get replaced.

No, not a stupid sheep. I object to something that is being broadcast which I find actually offensive and damaging to thr club I love.

Sheep was a general term for people who listen to it, not directly aimed at you. I have no idea if you're a first time listener or a regular Durham-ite

As Hybrid says, he does it to everyone. It's not an anti-Spurs channel, it's an anti-everything channel

We just happen to be a) well supported and b) have a lot of very vocal fans (just see how many vibrant forums we have, tho none as good as SC, obvs)

They have more chance of people ringing in if they slag off Spurs than, say, Burnley. So they do. That is literally it

I don't like hearing Spurs run down as much as the next man, and if its a level playing field, I'll argue all day. But this Durham isn't real, it's make believe, so you can never win. He either shifts the argument or cuts you off. No one will ever get the upper hand

The only way to change that is to ignore them. If all Spurs fans did, they wouldn't focus on us anymore, they'd move on to someone else

Think of it like the kid at school everyone used to tease because they knew they'd get a reaction. That's Spurs fans. They all need to follow their dad's advice and just ignore the bullies and they'll go away

Of its like a crooked fairground 'throw the suspiciously big ball through the suspiciously small hole' game. That's Durham's show. The illusion that you can win and be a hero when actually you'll just end up looking silly and out of pocket

It's almost like he does it on purpose to wind people up and get people to call in and create the content for him.

I'm amazed people listen to his show, in the same way I am amazed people still buy newspapers despite countless examples of fake stories, lies, unethical behaviour and scandal.

No calls, no show, no Durham. Ta da.

aren't a majority of the talk sports fans from the London area, biggest rivalry is Spurs v Arsenal, gets on winds up both clubs fans gets the callers to phone in, producers think show is popular and keep him on air - simples don't phone the show either that or it is a case of hating what you love the most, like school kid teases the girl he fancies

Cannot stand that man. Stopped listening to him a long time ago. In any debate he takes opposite view to majority to create an argument. He probably doesn't even believe what he's saying. Very poor broadcaster...

FFS my original post was partly a joke but had a serious side because the media representation of our club is, in my opinion, damaging our support base. If you think an opinion on this means I should be banned then maybe a debating forum like this isn't for you.

I dip in and out. I obviously don't listen to the idiotic presenters but like most I like H&J and some of the journos on Keys and Gray. I think the current media representation of Tottenham is affecting our fan base and is worth debating.

Just wait till his Daily Mail article comes out, you can imagine that will be full of Bale/Spurs/AVB. Knob Jockey of the highest order.

Even on the sports bar last night, which i normally listen to as i'm nodding off, was full of it. Goldstein was adamant he'll be off, Cundy said no way. That was it basically, for 3 hours of radio. Then Brazil and Irani do the same thing this morning.

The greatest shame is that a show of this ilk should provide entertaining listening, but that is modern day media for you.

In fairness to him, he has to be 'controversial' to obtain such a high profile job in a profession dominated by ex-professionals.

But the guy is clueless, just point and laugh at him. If everybody did that he would eventually disappear.

I don't see why anyone thinks its funny. Like the crazy ramblings of a tramp on the street. Talksport debate consists of who can shout over each other the loudest. Excellent stuff.

10 GOOD REASONS TO THINK ABOUT ADRIAN DURHAM

1/ You have to write an essay on 'Ginger Twats'.

2/ Someone asks you "Who would you most like to see share a prison cell with Charles Bronson and Paul Gadd?"

3/ To delay orgasm (cautionary note: only attempt this for the briefest of moments as otherwise your penis could retract into your abdomen at a painful velocity and stay there, shaking like a shitting dog, for a period of several months.

4/ ...ermm ...

Producers are in on it too. Don't think they're not. The whole thing is a construct

I was at the Sony Radio Awards two years ago and they swept the board. They've become phenomenally successful with this template

It isn't, we've never been better supported. That just isn't true

Might have to agree to disagree, it's very hard to measure but I cannot believe constant belittling helps us grow our support.

According to Levy's programme message, the paid season ticket waiting list is now 42,000 and there's been a 45% growth in international supporter groups. Now pinch of salt for the end of season PR drive, but in lieu of independent stats, that's quite compelling

Outside London, Talksport isn't really well known and that's where support growth really comes. Inside London, support is territorial or family based generally - I was raised in Harrow with Watford my nearest decent team but my dad and my grandad grew up in Tottenham and supported Tottenham so I did. No belittling of the team or Liverpool winning everything changed that

You choose your club when you're a kid and, importantly, before you know what Talksport is. Kids don't listen to the radio, grumpy old men do who have long since chosen their club and want a good old moan.

Agree in terms of going to the games and being ST holders but the merchandising market is massive. It isn't just Talksport but it's the general media disrespect for us that I'm referring to.

It might go the other way, Adrian Durham is such a complete and utter fucktard that neutrals may think that Spurs deserve a fair shake.

After all, this is the man who said Lionel Messi is a bottler for not wanting leave the beautiful, sunny Barcelona for shitty Manchester or frozen Russia
