The big problem with him is that he thinks he is a superstar and acts accordingly however in the real world he is no great shakes.

Cheers for posting. Depressingly familiar. Particularly,

Can we have some context here please.

If Tarabat had done this once in this game, then 'booing' would have been out of order. What I definitely heard was collective groaning after he didn;t choose to put in Buzz for his hat trick. This is a product of week, on week out, having to put up with a player who has great, great ability yet perpetually is making wrong decisions in key areas which are costing both goals and points. He continually ran in to trouble against Peterboro, ditto Chelsea and again today.IT IS FRUSTRATING hence a thread started by someone two weeks ago:

Pass it Adel.

He does not appear to have learnt from in spite of being substituted by Magilton 2 weeks ago and now being subsequently dropped.

His reaction was completely unprofessional and if someone tells you to royally f off as he did, more than once I may add, then don't you have a right to come back?

Booed for not passing when 5-2 up and a few mintutes to go? Disgraceful, especially when they are targetting a guy who is still learning the game and in a foreign league.

Yes he is frustrating but that sort of thing will not help.

"At least two or three times today he tried to take on one too many players when a pass to a player in space would have been the best option...."

At least he has made progress......

This quote from that forum puts a morepositve spin on things;

It is true he does frequently hold on to the ball too long, try to over complicate things and (even after spotting the easy pass) fail to play in a team mate.

On the plus side - he can hold onto the ball better than anyone else in the squad (and there will be many matches this season (like yesterday) when our defence is under pressure and this will be a big plus), he terrifies defences (anyone remember Chelsea putting three players on him?), he can dominate matches (anyone remember the boos when he was subbed against Peterborough), he can and does score important goals that win matches (S****horpe 1-0), he is also great to watch because he does have the ability to do the extraordinary.

It does sound like he has been improving gradually. If he can learn to play as a part of a team after a whole season with QPR, then we'll keep him and they'll have got something out of it. If not he'll end up elsewhere. Either way there's no point getting on his back.

Mixed messages on that board, some say their most skillful player in ten years, some say he frustrates the hell out of him and wouldn't be bothered if he left

He really needs to pass.

Even for a Spurs XI against Aldershot, he was beign a selfish git, and running into trouble.

So much potential and talent, but lacking in a footballing brain. Shame, he could be really, really good.

more you hear about the lad more robofan seems spot on about him. you would've thought playing in the 1st division would've helped him realise hes not zidanes secret love child but obviously not.
ah well im happier that dos santos is maturing then i would be about him doing the same.
another dalmat??? all the attributes but lacking the qualities to take advantage of them

Sidford - What did Robofan say about Adel, I don't recall reading anything about him.

All I do know is that Bostock, gave Adel a roasting in the pre-season game I went to. Was very funny, thought Bostock waas going to give him a whack at one point.

robofan wouldnt be his eh....biggest fan shall we say. he said adel thinks he is the new zidane and wont listen to anyone who tries to teach him anything and isnt exactly well liked around the club from for his attitude. the impression robofan gave was that he was a right p****
