He's a quality player but also very much at the ideal club for his development right now and shouldn't be used as a stick to beat our recruitment department with.

We’ll never know what would have happened if he had joined us but I imagine from his perspective the move to Palace can’t have gone much better and now he has a chance of going to the Euro’s.

He’s still only 20 so plenty of time to keep improving and move to a bigger club in the future as well

No but surprised. He's exactly what we need and is probably 50 plus mil now and will be even more in a year so.
By all accounts we liked him and was probably one of a list of players we were following closely. Palace went in and got him and fair play he has been excellent so far. In hindsight sure it would have been great to get him but we also went and bought Bergvall. Let's give it a year or two and then we can look at it and see who made the best deal.

Someone suggested we went for Bergvall instead and that makes sense to me.

Maybe we only wanted to blood one youngster into the midfield at the moment.

He looks brilliant and of course we should have signed him but I'd argue you could beat other top clubs with the same stick over Sarr, or Mickey Van Der Ven or Udogie

We can't buy them all, we just had e to make sure the ones we do get work out.

Probably just the video you’ve seen.

He’s a more aggressive Michael Carrick at the same age.

In 2 years he’ll be a full international imo.

Depth and variety for Bissouma.

Fabulous passing and vision from deep.

Wand of a left foot and decent with his right.

Good footwork when pressed high.

Strong mentality.

Sign him up.
This looked spot on - I didn’t see him play for Blackburn but the moment I saw him for Palace you could see he can/will become a top player

So far he’s had a fantastic start to his career at the top level

Personally really glad we had him high on our list and actively tried. Good signs for our scouting network and what we're capable of now. Sounds like it was just the first team football side of things that held it back, but scouting-wise, good stuff.

Seems like he's the one who got away. Who was rated higher in the Championship between him and Gray, anyone know?

Anyway surprised to see him getting called up in the provisional England squad. Deserved imo. I don't think he'll be leaving Palace for at least another year.
