Tottenham Hotspur central defender Alfie Dorrington has emerged as the latest January transfer target for Aberdeen.

The 19-year-old was an unused substitute in Spurs’ 3-0 victory at Tamworth in the FA Cup on Sunday.

Think it would be a good move for him. We're scraping the barrel right now at CB which isn't ideal, but we should have some coming back soon and Djed Spence has looked pretty good standing in and Archie Gray is growing in stature every game.

He's only 20, let him out to play games. I have the feeling having him here just makes it less urgent to sign a senior CB in Levy's eyes.

I do think we need another FB more urgently atm. Until Ben Davies leaves anyway. We have 4 cb's and Archie. Just need to get em fit.

We’ve Phillips, Vuskovic and Dorrington, as central defenders coming through all seem to be highly rated. But this probably translates to Levy not buying us a new one.
