So Lennon has pretty much been Evertons best player for the last month and Manager and Players alike have singled him out as the reason for their turnaround.

Question is, do we bring him back or sell him on, if it's the latter how much are we talking about? £15 million probably would have been laughed at in January but now he's regained form I don't think it's out of the equation.

I'd very much like it to be more than the £6m or so quoted in January. £10m I'd be happy with.

Playing with more freedom at Everton.
He needed a kick up the rear and we'll done to him to buckling down.
8 million sounds about right.

Put him in a deal to sign Mirallas.

No way he's £15 million though :ROFLMAO:

Amazed at the prices being given here. He's entering his so called prime age, he's English, he's way out performing Miralles a player many here would happily pay £20 million for and yet you are happy to sell for £8 million, £2 million less than what Ross McCormack went for last summer? Glad you guys ain't in charge of our player sales.

Lennon has been a good player. If he has got his form back keeping him would seem a good idea. I am not sure about Miralles. Seems inconsistent like many of the players we already have. Would rather bring in some leaders.

Time for Lennon to move on. I'd say £10m is a good price.

Won't happen. I don't think we've ever loaned out a senior player and had them return

Lennon's issues are all mental/off-field. Lamela and Townsend are both dedicated to self-improvement. Lennon's the last of the spice boys and hasn't developed at all in the past decade

Why have you quoted me? I said he should move on.

He's got his form back because of 2 reasons-
a) He's actually playing.
b) He's actually playing right wing. Which is where he plays.

Its not rocket science.

Bring him back, play him on the left once every 3 weeks and pass the ball sideways for 90min and I'm fairly confident he'll look shit again.

Anyone with any sense knew he'd do well at Everton.
He was good enough when we were flying in top 4 positions and getting to quarter final of CL.
Now he's finished at 28??? I dont think so.
More we've pissed 30m up the wall and need to stick to our guns to save face.
How anyone can say Lamela or Townsend are better players is frankly laughable.
When the ball went under Lamelas foot Sunday lol. fk me I felt sorry for him.
He needs to get out of here quick or his careers gonna be finished before it starts.

I agree with this, and I'll also add that I think he needed a change in scenery. Everton was a perfect option as it's a competitive side, Martinez likes pacey, right-footed wingers on the right, and it's simply in a different city altogether. As a result, I agree, it's no surprise he's consequently done well. Give him a side that actually plays with some space and appreciates pace and he'll thrive.

That having been said, I still think his mistake at Chelsea was shitty, and if the ITK about him getting in a row with Poch over it is true then I view that as unprofessional of him. Will be interesting to see if we decide to sell or keep him now that he's proven he can still be an effective player in this league.

Everton weren't sure he would do well or they wouldn't have just loaned him.

c) He's not found the best drinking establishments in Liverpool yet
d) Martinez is much less of a disciplinarian than/doesn't have as high expectations as Poch

Loved him when he first came here.
Good luck at Everton.
