I found a nice little story buried in a local website which says our beloved Spurs are planning to venture down to visit the very team that taught Brazil how to play football (thats actual fact, google it), the MIGHTY GRECIANS!

Obviously the two clubs are on good terms with Inglethorpe moving up to the shiny lights of London and Troy Arh...Archibu...Archibald-Hern...Herv...Hernve...that lanky guy from the reserves being on loan, plus Harry visited last year where Defoe missed 18,000 one on ones in a friendly with Pompey so it fits that theyd want to visit again.

EXETER City are close to announcing that they will host Tottenham Hotspur in a pre-season friendly this summer, Echo Sport can reveal.
The Premier League giants have been pencilled in to face City at St James's Park on Thursday, July 16, but the two clubs are still thrashing out the final details.

If the game is confirmed then Spurs manager Harry Redknapp will be making a swift return to Exeter, having been in charge of Portsmouth when the FA Cup holders played City last summer.

It is shaping up to be a busy pre-season for Paul Tisdale's men as Championship outfit Derby County have confirmed they will play the Grecians at St James's Park on Saturday, July 25.

And City are also expected to enter the Errea South West Challenge Cup, held in North Devon, in preparation for the 2009/10 campaign.

Dont knock the Errea South West Challenge Cup, the winner gets the use of Jims tractor for a whole month after!

steve perryman is actually director of football down at Exeter City.
Even if we do play some of the kids it will be nice to watch the yids without a seven hour round trip involved.

Harry likes to take his teams to Woodbury Park golf club during pre-season, so I reckon they'll be doing that again. My brother used to be a member there.

I believe he is a legend down there too, he apparantly recommended Alex Inglethorpe to the Spurs.

I might have a few days in the West Country during Jully now.

another new ground as well to visit

Ether that or just ask one of the houses behind the away end if you can sit in there upstairs window and watch it from there!

My mates refused to talk to me once because i refused to go home with a fairly plump woman who lived in one of those houses on the sole basis that i could invite them around the next afternon and we could all watch the game for free with a steady flow of tea.
