6 Inter are a bit pap

Agree largely but Inter have had a terrible pre season. Really think CCV is ahead of Wimmer? Be surprised unless injuries

I reckon he's 4th choice but the fact that Wimmer didn't play at all in the three games indicates he might be struggling with a knock. Also interesting that Poch let CCV and Toby get 90 minutes to know each other.

Enjoyable match .

Agree about Jansen .

Thought Ericksen looked very rusty .

For Inter , that Ivan Perisic is a cracking player .

I thought CCV was really good, considering his age; and I'm one of those that rolls his eyes everytime someone suggests that he will be anything except another one of those kids that we sell to a Championship Club. I was pleasantly surprised.

I might have missed it, but I was surprised Winks didn't get a mention; who certainly looks like he's about to end Mason's time at Spurs.

Good shout. Winks did play very well.

More likely to end Carrols no?

I thought ERIKSEN showed some lovely little moments of class but again seemed to pull out instead of putting himself on the line.
JANSSEN is a lump with a good touch and a left foot so think he'll take the premier league like a duck to water.

How did you spell both our players names wrong but get their players name right? :ROFLMAO:

I always remember with fondness Ally describing Sean Davis and Mendes as 'the odd couple'.

Great description of the pair and was a shame things didn't work out for either long term for us really, especially Davis who I was well chuffed when we got him.

Great memory you've got. Those were good days, when we stopped being the mid-table mediocre Spurs of those times and started on the road to where we are now.

I think the difficulty of spelling a player's name
should be taken into account when signing players.
Alderweirald, Jansson, Ericksen, Elli Dali, Loris
whats that all about.
Let's hear it for Rose Walker, Kane,Dire,Mason, Edwards, Winks
er... Onomar, Caroll, Benterleb,Lameler,
Blimey life's hard enough.

Why do you roll your eyes about CCV? The kid is one of the most promising youth players in England. The only reason he doesnt get the hype is because England massively fucked up waiting too long to make contact and let the US swoop in. If he was an England youth international, the media would be all over him like they are Marcus Edwards and Josh Onomah.
