Based on last season, pre-season and day 1, here are my predictions:-
1. We will have a piss poor run and drop to near relegation zone (say 14-16th)
2. Ange will be sacked in November
3. Mason (again) appointed as caretaker
4. Another manager search in winter window but in vain
5. We will be knocked out early in FA Cup and Carabao Cup as we draw PL/Championship opponents
6. Mason will be in charge for the remaining season and finish between 11th-17th
7. We search for a new manager again in next summer

To avoid the above Ange and the coaches have a lot to work to rectify the shambolic defense, the headless midfield and the ineffective frontline. Seems to be mission impossible to me though considering the quality of the coaching team 🤷‍♂️
This one is worryingly prescient

I like to come back through and read some of these predictions just for giggles as there are some really deluded people on this site!
It more reads that you like to come and gloat about spurs having a shit season but each to their own. If by deluded you mean ‘didn’t know we were going to play several months without an entire first choice defence and entire backup attack’ then yeah I was one of the deluded ones. if Liverpool were missing Allison, VVD, Konate, Gomez, Robinson, Gakpo, Nunez and Chiesa for months each do you think they’d be top of the league?

Great that it makes you giggle though

There is always an excuse. The injuries are the reason we in 13th…….. everyone has injuries but other teams adapt. We had the same injuries during the same time last year. We played Royal and Davies as our centre backs last year. We are in exactly the same place again. Are we unlucky or is there something else going on? I would say the manager shouldn’t be running his players into the groundWe play the same way and teams know how to play us. If you think that getting vdv and Romero back will change our fortunes then good for you but the same problems are there which have been there at the start of the season and were there last season and the coaches don’t seem to want to fix them.

I don’t want Ange out because I fear that Southgate will be the next one up and I don’t want that but the blind faith that some of our fans have is unbearable. We have 99 problems and no one seems to be able to fix them.

And yes giggling at some of these predictions is a bit of light in a dark place

Apart from your gloating happy tone at spurs struggling this is the problem. You must know that nobody else has injury problems remotely like ours this season, so why do you try to depend that’s not the case with crap like ‘everyone has injuries’. Teams try to adapt but (and this is going to shock you) teams get worse without their best players. All of them. So if you’re without more of your best players than everyone else you’re going to be affected more than anyone else.

So unless you think the injuries are solely self inflicted, yes of course injuries are why we are 13th. City lost 2 players and dropped off a cliff. We’ve lost 5 times that

To be honest, this reads more like you come back here to be a bit of a twat.

I mean, I go into every season thinking that we're going to challenge for everything, not because I'm deluded but because that's part of the joy of supporting a football team.
To dream of success at the start of every season, as unlikely as it may be.

If you take your joy from gloating, good for you but it seems a bit petty for me.

Yeah, this is like me. You could appoint Skeletor as our head coach and I’d still convince myself we’re going to have a good season, as misguided as that may be.

I've been like this forever, even back through the nineties when we were mainly atrocious, I still hoped every signing would be "the one" and that each new season would see us become what we were meant to be.

Getting excited when the new FIFA came out because we brought someone Tremazzani or Ramon Vega FFS, when my mates were all Chelsea, Liverpool or United fans.

Considering, like you, my memory is fucked, one memory that really stands out is as a kid looking on the back page of some tabloid at home and going to the pack page (after I’ve checked out page 3 obviously) and seeing the headline that we had appointed Gross. I still have the image in my head of that back page and being excited about the season ahead. Funny the things you remember isn’t it. I can’t remember a single birthday of mine as a kid but I remember the day we appointed Christian fucking Gross

Yep, I struggle to remember who we played three weeks ago but yet I can remember that Wombat shit is cube shaped.
I don't even know where I learnt that but it's been with me for life!

My brain just remembers pointless stuff but nothing important or useful.
I have to ask my kids what year they were born FFS.

Levy does it all for you - he wouldn't want you mixing up the years we won trophies now, would he?
