I think we finish top 4

1. We win Europa
2. Deki with 20+ G+A
3. Porro has 6+ goals
4. Son has less than 12 goals
5. We get the Bentacour we know and love back

(1) We start the season slowly but finish strong and 6th.
(2) We do well in both cups SF of FAC and final of LC which we win.
(3) Go out of Europa at the knock out stage.
(4)Son finishes with 14 goals Solanke only 10.
(5)Mikey Moore has a fantastic 2nd half of season when he plays regularly and finishes 2nd top scorer with 12 goals and RM offer £100 mil for him.

Slow start to the season, scum beat us 3-0 in September, struggle in Europa games, fans turn on Levy/board, board sack Ange after Christmas with club in 10th.
Kieran McKenna appointed, finish 7th. Levy still in post.
As much positivity there is about our transfer business, the younger players we have and the future with them the fact we still can't defend set pieces and seem to still be making the same mistakes at the back will mean we draw/lose more than we should based on our style of play/possession.
I'm LevyOut (I know it will never happen) not AngeOut (Will be the fall guy just like all those before him)

Spurs win Europa League is my primary prediction (I am more convinced of this because of the new format, where champions league sides dont drop down to Europa league)

Bold predictions :
  1. Bergvall to be voted Young player of the season in PL (not just Spurs)
  2. Solanke, Son, Richy combination to score 50+ goals in PL
  3. Arsenal suffer injury crisis finally after 3 seasons and their campaign to flame out in 2nd half
  4. Spurs finish 2nd in PL ahead of Arsenal
  5. Ipswich to survive PL and Everton to be relegated.

- Solanke hits the ground running and wins August PL POTM (if there is one). Builds steadily from there and finishes with around 20 league goals.
- Gray starts the season as a rotational player, but becomes "undroppable" in the league by Christmas. Candidate for YPOTS come the end of the season.
- First-choice back 4 score at least 15 league goals between them.
- We reach a Cup final. I'm thinking Europa League.
- Werner has a much more productive season than we expected from him. He starts almost every Cup game, and rotates with Son in the league. Minimum of 10G 15A all comps.

  • 5th around turn of the year.
  • Maddison starts to lose his place to Bergval
  • Media to start turning on Ange trying to wind him up with stupid questions
  • Strong second half of season finishing in 2nd place
  • Media double down on trying to make Ange the villain

Pessimist take:

1) Vic takes a lot of blame as we concede further soft goals from set-pieces. Resulting in a witch-hunt and calls for him to be dropped then sold.
2) Dragusins agent starts to bait the club in November, ready for a January loan exit.
3) Udogie is the first player suspended for an accumulation of yellow cards.
4) It’s fairly obvious by Xmas that Romero will be off in the summer, so enjoy while it lasts.
5) Kulu continues to divide opinion on just about every metric. Good enough to start? Best position? Keep or sell? Ginger or strawberry blonde?

Optimistic take:

1) Udogie unifies opinion by becoming the leagues best full-back and is nominated for YPotY as well as PoTY.
2) Gray is selected for a full-England squad prior to the close of the season.
3) Solanke finishes second to Haaland in the race for the golden boot scoring >20
4) Bergvall continues to improve/impress with glimpses of becoming an elite level no.8.
5) We score 5 goals or more in at least 4 different premier league matches helping wrack-up an impressive GF tally.

Vicario comes under a lot of scrutiny and by end of season a lot want him replaced
Maddison ends the season as bench option
Same as Deki
Gray becomes one of first on team sheet
VdV in Prem TOTY
Solanke scores 20+ Prem goals

Good grief, some light bed-time reading in case you wanted to finish the day on suicide watch.

1) 25+ goals for Dom Solanke
2) Ange Postecoglou to be linked with a move away mid-season
3) Vicario to be recognised as one of the best keepers in the league
4) Son to struggle a bit at times, and be dropped at one point, but still record 25+ G+A in all competitions eventually
5) Spurs to finish 2nd or 3rd, rue a missed opportunity to have won the league, but be very optimistic about next season with Man City getting relegated.

Please note that all these predictions are bold because...well...they're in bold:

1. Bissouma is welcomed back in the fold, credited with creating a great team spirit and getting everyone laughing
2. Skipp's brand new, unused toupe is found in the training ground changing rooms
3. The club reveal that they made a bid for Messi. "We tried".
4. Bergvall's hair because even more shiny, bouncy and smooth and he signs huge deals with L'Oreal and Vidal Sassoon
5. SC is voted the least moany, whingy fan forum in the known universe

Based on last season, pre-season and day 1, here are my predictions:-
1. We will have a piss poor run and drop to near relegation zone (say 14-16th)
2. Ange will be sacked in November
3. Mason (again) appointed as caretaker
4. Another manager search in winter window but in vain
5. We will be knocked out early in FA Cup and Carabao Cup as we draw PL/Championship opponents
6. Mason will be in charge for the remaining season and finish between 11th-17th
7. We search for a new manager again in next summer

To avoid the above Ange and the coaches have a lot to work to rectify the shambolic defense, the headless midfield and the ineffective frontline. Seems to be mission impossible to me though considering the quality of the coaching team 🤷‍♂️

Now we know the make-up of the squad, all I can say if Ange gets us 5th or better he’s performed a small miracle.

Miracle? This squad is more than good enough for that.
City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea all have a better squad and first XI. That means we have to perform at 100% to get 5th from Utd and Villa. Not impossible but not nailed on by any stretch.

I have no idea what to expect. I just want to watch the team play twice a week for as long as possible. So sixty or so match season would be pretty nifty.
