- Richy stays fit all season and bangs in over 20 goals
- Daniel Levy finally opens the Sky Bar (for my 50th bday.) A few of us are banned for life.
- The dropoff between starting 11 and young, hungry subs is now minimal- as the entire squad are now lapping up Ange's style of football.
- We win a trophy. It feels immense. Danny Kelly cries happy tears for 2 full months.
- We make a massive Winter signing, based on a phenomenal start to the season.
- This player is instantly injured and out for 18 months. Luckily, Lankshear steps up and bags 6 goals in a busy spell, against some big rivals.
- We finish 3rd, ahead of Arsenal

I think we win a cup or two, and get the 4th place we surrendered to Villa last season. If Richy, Kulu, Lankeshear (or other 3rd striker) between them get 30 goals, I think we get 3rd.

Something about LFC and Slot says to me they might take a while to get going, if he gets the time.

Arsenal play some great stuff but i feel as if two season of so close might be a bit too much disappointment. A few dodgy early results and I think they maybe vulnerable. I think City will coast the title this season

Gone with 5th-6th based on our current transfer business cincluded and European football. Champions will be Arsenal or City. Unknowns Vllla & United. Liverpool I'm not sure with Arne Slot.... but 4th won't be a easy walk.

  1. We get top 4
  2. We get better defensively and continue to develop our style
  3. We don't win anything
  4. Our under-21 players establish themselves with decent minutes and set us up for a big jump the season after with at least 3-4 being starters on merit (not due to lack of transfers)
Season after: we win something and are pushing for the league until the last month (and I'm a pessimist)

This is where I’m at although if we want to make top 4 we need a couple of big first team signings

I think we have enough quality, if we get good luck with injuries this year, to get there when you consider lots of teams are changing/rebuilding too. I think villa will drop with their champs league campaign too

Bold Predictions time but they do have to be somewhat realistic:
1) Archie Gray will be our starting DM by the end of the season
2) Solanke, Son, Kulusevski, Richarlison, Johnson combined have 55+ PL goals
3) We make the semifinals of at least one cup competition
4) We make significant progress at the back and have 11 or more clean sheets in the league this season
5) Romero makes PL team of the year

We going to go thru some growing pains in the league. Im perfectly ok with that I like the longterm strategy we're pursuing.

Im going to be a silly little optimist and go for a youthfully ignorant league cup run. Fingers crossed.

Depends on how the window ends obviously but with the current squad I reckon:

7th in an extremely tight league. Concentration issues and set piece issues cost us dearly.

One early ish exit and one semi final at worst in the domestic cups. May even win one.

We get through the league stage of the EL fairly easily but come unstuck in the knockouts with a shock exit.

We score more than last season but concede a few more too. The goal difference is marginally better.

If we don’t sign a left sided defender, either Udogie or VDV pick up an injury due to overload.

I’m missing the cheeky sarcastic optimistic rating

Here's a bold prediction; Tottenham and Liverpool will have swapped managers by this time next year... 👀

Solanke hits 20+ goals across all comps, Porro gets 5-8 goals, Werner will get 10+ goal involvements.

Finish 4th, semi final in FA Cup, quarter-final Europa League (but we'll finish top 8 in the league phase).
