They were talking before the game how this is a chance to see what the England national team will look like after Kane.

Not exactly as great as they thought it would be.

It's insane how Foden turns into a Sunday league player as soon as he puts an England shirt on

Not really...he’s yet to play for England under a competent manager.

Tonight is what happens when you don't have a midfield. Dreadful tactics. Time to bring Gomes on, at least.

Is it him or England managers not knowing how to get the most out of him?

He’s not had a lot to work with tonight.

Bet the same bunch of absolute muppets who wanted Kane to retire from England after the Euro's will be begging for him back in the next game.

Seriously, these pointless ‘friendlies’ need binning off!!
If England hadn't fluffed their chances a couple of years ago and gotten relegated - these "friendlies" would be serious competition.

England is really the only country that did not take them seriously, and now they are stuck behind the big boys.

I’m not even watching, I’m not interested until we get a manager who has the balls to play players in their correct positions even if it means leaving someone decent on the bench.
Couldn't agree more. I saw the line up with Bellingham up front and gave it a swerve. All about the names and not the balance of the team.
