Yes because it’s a really important point to consider.
It's not at all.

We lost to Arsenal and something like 4 in a row then lost at home to the best team in the country.

The fact that some fans had differing views on the game doesn't mean shit. It's beyond tedious now.

The idea that if we'd all agreed that winning was the best thing for us would have resulted in us winning the game is very funny though.

Nah. Villa are on the beach, having already qualified for CL. No way they would have collapsed like this if they'd needed the points. Nevertheless Selhurst Park is a tough place to go these days.
So they might not have lost 5-0 but Palace were well good enough to have beaten them on current form.

City were too good simple as that. We had to get more from other games. 5th is still good but can't help but feel a little disappointed as 4th felt possible a month ago.

We finished above Chelsea, Man Utd and Newcastle. I genuinely thought we would really struggle this season without Kane but we have been fine. Ange has done a terrific job but clearly we have a lot of improvement to come.

Half time on the final day and Villa getting tonked by Palace so as things stand had we won on Tuesday we'd be playing CL football next season.

@dontcallme
you can't disagree with me because that's the situation as it stood and now as it finished.

You think the level of performance from villa wouldn't have been a tad better had they not been on a 5 day bender?

If only we all wanted to win the CL final hard enough

If you offered me 5th place at the start of the season and said we would finish above Utd, Chelsea, & Newcastle, I would have bit your hand off.

Yes, many of the performances since November have been poor - but we've got the building blocks for Ange and the team to go again next season.

Let's just hope that Levy finally decides to back a manager for a change.

Onwards and upwards.

Of course not but Palace were never a walkover on current form.
It's not for me to justify my position by the way I am simply laying out the facts of the matter. Which are inarguable.

Think we need a big improvement next year. Outside of the purple patch at the beginning of the season it's been a pretty mediocre set of performances.

Three places higher, scored more, better GD, despite selling arguably our best ever player. I'd argue that's a good first season.
