had a couple of tips today thought I’d pass them on since your all such a good bunch on here ? Fury Road in the Albert Bartlett and Shiskin in the Supreme have them in a double and e/w and win single respectively, Pinch of salt and all that!

Fancy Shiskin myself. (y)

Isn't Shiskin favourite anyway as Envoi Allen will likely be running in the Ballymore?

Nevertheless, always appreciate a tip!

OK, so a race I usually love at the Festival is the Champion Bumper. mainly because its a frantic chaotic race. Picked up Moon Racer and Fayonagh in the past.

My tip for this years is.....Israel Champ. currently 12/1.

Bit concerned this might be called off because of the coronavirus which would be a massive shame.

yep, its looking increasingly likely as the outbreak is getting worse over here. such a shame if so. before my interest in horse racing, but it was also called off before due to foot and mouth so my Dad tells me.

I bloody hope not, our hotels , tickets etc have all been bought and paid for
Same, we've got all the club tickets paid for too on the Tues.

Ultimately see what happens and assume they would refund but fingers crossed it doesn't come to that eh?!

Would be ridiculous to call it off more people come into contact with each other from all over the world in front Croesus street every day for gods sake.

if they call it off, surely they also have to stop all public transport, close all shopping centres down, cancel all rugby and football matches and close all schools etc etc basically lockdown the country.

Switzerland has cancelled all events that attract 1000 people or more.
Games are being cancelled and I reckon there is a very good chance that Cheltenham will be cancelled...in the same way that it would be for an outbreak of Foot and Mouth.
Public interest.
Cancelling trains is not realistic because people HAVE to travel.
School are being closed not just here in UK but world-wide.
Shopping centres will be deserted if people have any sense of their own safety.
It won't be any different than the country having to deal with extreme cold, snowy, ice weather for a few weeks....or months, and some of us have already lived through that. ??

preview night last night - Paul Nicholls said of Saint Sonnet (Marsh chase) ‘he runs for me at Catterick on Tuesday, and when he bolts up there, he won’t be an outsider in this field’.

seems like a good tip to me. currently 50/1.

Won by 3 1/2 lengths @ 1/5. Now 25/1 with Hills.

I watched the race at Catterick. Whilst he won with what looked like a bit in hand, his jumping was a bit patchy.

That said, it was his first showing since moving to Nicholls yard and he'll no doubt improve this.

not sure it’ll improve enough by Cheltenham. goes in the tracker for next season ?
