Reminds me of this album cover...

Which is great but it has no place on a bastard football!

I can't believe the clamour for Nike to be our kit manufacturer personally as aside from their France shirts they've been getting worse year on year, same with the balls, the last Nike ball i liked was the one i associate with Ronaldo with (the top one in that lower link) and because it reminds me of Ronaldo you've gone and made me angry again!

Football is becoming more and more parody of itself, it'll be greatly highlighted this summer by some vastly overpriced player wearing a ghastly shirt, shaking hands with some utter cockwomble of a manager, holding that ball, posing for a "new signing" photo, with a shit eating grin, wearing some ridiculous earrings that probably cost more than the entire XI of a league one club, on the back pages of some shit rag tabloid & home page utterly shite football website.

I like the old brown leather balls which if you hit it right, it flew like a rocket.

Think if u showed kids a traditional black and white football, they would most likely give u the same look as if u showed them an old fashion telephone. Lol. Lots of sports, basketball, tennis, golf have multicolour balls, but when it comes to tourney, they still go back to their traditional colours.

Think the new balls are too colourful to me, still think a football has to be 70% white (or yellow/orange for the winter ball).

But I guess it could be better for TV, and it also removes the need for a winter ball. Thou I am sure most teams have under soil heating.

Black and white ball, black boots, sensible haircuts and no social media.

Meet my demands or else.

Don't mind those balls, I'm pretty happy with any ball that's light coloured.

If you're looking for classic footballs, there is only one correct answer IMO:

I agree. It is near enough impossible to find Black football boots. When I was younger if your football boots weren't black you had to be something special or you would be kicked all over the park. When I am looking for football boots for my son you can't actually get any that are black. When did that change?

I blame this guy. Not sure why.

Brings back memories.... Back in those days a football really cost a lot. Remember a few of my friends took part time jobs, and combine the amount they made to purchase an Adidas football.
What year are you talking about? I thought they were expensive now and cheaper then? All the choices/prices you'd ever need in the Argos catalogue.

My cousins old house backed on to the railway lines coming out of Chingford Station so once in a while we'd climb over the fence and go and collect the tennis balls & footballs that the neighbours kids had lost over there. We'd keep them, obviously. If we gave them back people would know we'd been over there.

Not for us thou, we had cheaper brands, like. Topper which sells footballs for $30. But the bigger names like Adidas, Nike footballs cost $50+

That time I had $2 pocket money a day?
