Is that image selective and only picked the big names worse than him?

Doubt that, because in total how many players are there who have reach 200 club goals regardless? There probably only is a handful to pick from for comparison anyway.

Doing a bit of math from Wikipedia stats, Shearer got there in around 400 games and isn't on the list.

tbf most decent strikers reach more than that career wide. While the top strikers get more than 300. from people who played for us in recent times you have:

Greaves 422 (not including non-league)
Sheringham 361
Keane 325 (Ok 100 MLS goals..)
Defoe 298
Klinsmann 284
Berbatov 281
Kanoute 215
Adebayor 205
Rebrov 204
Iversen 202
Llorente 200
Pavlychenko 187
Armstrong 157
Mido 85 (what a waste of talent)

Internationally
David Villa 381
Shearer 379
Aguero 378
Henry 360
Ronaldo (original) 352
Nistelrooy 349
Rooney 312
Totti 307
Torres 262
Fowler 254
Klose 231
Owen 222

So 200 goals is achievable for most good strikers. 300 is an exceptional number that usually is linked to Longevity or incredible talent. 400 is insane, requires a lot of consistency and very few have hit that. Limiting it on players currently playing you have. Messi 641, C Ronaldo 633, Ibra 480, Lewandowski 423, Luis Suarez 415 and in Europe that's it.

Btw only 28 players are recognised as having scored more than 500 career goals (Greaves is one), using the same methodology of counting goals Kane is currently on 250. Considering he should have a minimum of another 6 years of peak goal scoring, it is a target that is possible to hit.

Well now you are listing players with these goals combined for all their clubs during each career. I took the comparison to mean 200 club goals for the same club.

Club goals as opposed to international goals. Not club goals as in for a single club.
