I know "Éderson" is technically correct - but unless you include the accent mark on his name when you search, this thread won't show up in the results. And, I am guessing I won't be alone in forgetting to use the accent mark...

If Koopmeiners leave’s, which is expected after he asked to be able to move this summer, Ederson won’t be sold. It’s a shame as he’s be great but Atalanta won’t be selling two important midfielders in one window.

. Depends what we want though. If you want a destroyer which I think we need with how bad our defence is then you go for him if you want a dlp then you don’t.

Watched the game last night and actually think he was the best of all midfielders on display which isn't an easy task when the others are Koopmeiners, De Ketelaere, Palacios, Xhaka and Wirtz.

He reminds me of our very own Brazilion bulldozer in midfield in Sandro. Strong, fast enough, good on the ball, kept it simple, great positioning and fantastic determination.

Personally he would be top of my list. Only 24 years aswell so suits our age range.

He's 100% top of my list for that role. He's exactly what we need in midfield right now IMO and even at a young age has the experience of winning.

I think we can show him a path to both A) winning with us and B) becoming an Elite player.

Right now we should be going full barrel for this guy.
