A lot of his passes were behind Manor Solomon, he kept having to run back to keep the ball in, and then was facing the wrong way with multiple opponents near him. I felt sorry for Manor.
Always irritated the hell out of me when we had less than 50% possession at HOME pretty much every game when Conte was in charge, even against teams we should have been dominating. Great to see that change.
Can't see us having multiple incomings with this money. The squad is already well known for being too big.
Would make more sense to get one big money signing, but nothing makes sense with this club so who knows.
The fact we haven't brought any CB in yet is so dumb. New manager has us playing a whole new way, wants the squad to get used to his system, yeah let's wait until the season starts before getting a CB or two in, drop them into the 11 not knowing how the hell to play the system. The incompetence...
I'd like him. I just like us having absolutely rapid players. Son, Walker, Lennon. Nothing better than seeing them breeze past players. A CB with great pace is such an asset, VVD at Liverpool in his peak and Varane at Real Madrid were almost impossible to get past.
This is like the shittiest merry-go-round of all time. I wonder who'll be in contention next week, maybe back to Nagelsmann for a few days? Then back to Ange?
Just emphasises how the club have no idea what they're doing.
😂 4 up top, have a go! I do miss Harry's Spurs teams, you never knew whether we'd win 4-0 or lose 6-5, but it was always entertaining.
I think some players we've bought just aren't the right fit for how we've played the last few seasons. Someone like Gil would do a lot better playing for...
Seems to be positive news regarding Arne. Was definitely between him and JN for me, so would be very happy with that choice.
I don't think the manager makes much of a difference against low blocks tbh. It's pretty much the quality of players available. Having KDB provide an amazing assist...
He can't just keep being assistant to managers. I think like others have said, it would be better if he went out and started managing some teams. He's Tottenham through and through like you say, and will always be willing to come back to the club as Manager in the years to come.
