Plymouth manager has been sacked. Not sure what impact this will have on his playing time but can’t imagine this will help him as it sounded like Foster was part of the reason we sent him to Plymouth in the first place
From what’s been reported he’s very settled in Leeds. They’ve got a Welsh group there now with Ampadu, Roberts and Dan James who has been his best mate since there days together at Swansea so he might want to stay. Even if they don’t get promoted.
Georginio is a very skilful player. Especially in the championship but yeah you would have hoped he’d be a bit more aggressive and come out and tackle him instead of backing off.
Looks like Ian Foster has agreed with you as Phillips is now in the middle of the back three instead of the right. Seems to better suited going up against Piroe then Gnonto or Summerville.
Haven’t Barcelona tried in the past to try and sell De Jong with no luck because of the backdated pay they owe him? I’m sure that’s part of the reason he didn’t join Man United. Unless it’s a club he’s desperate to join I’m not sure what is going to change this summer.
Saw Vuskovic made his first start for Radomiak but they lost 4-0. Their keeper got sent off after 31 minutes conceding a penalty which was scored to make it 2-0. Only going off the Sky Sports app though.
Maybe they did and I missed it but I don’t remember the club having Jamie Donley on when he was player of the month. Maybe Lankshear is a bit more media trained or comfortable in front of a camera and was happier to do it then Donley or maybe they see a future with him and want to show him off...
Good that he seems to feel he’s playing in his natural position for Plymouth rather than the deeper role at Port Vale. I wonder if Spurs feel the same way and that was another reason they recalled him from Port Vale to find another loan for him.
I think Solomon is a really good player but last season at Fulham and this season with us he seems to spend more time in the physio room than the training ground. Shame but if Spurs can get a decent offer for him I can see the logic in selling him.
2-1 Leeds in extra time. Summerville cuts inside onto his right against Phillips and bends it in with his right foot. Great goal but I think Phillips let him cut inside to easily. Although fatigue is to blame as Summerville has only been in for about 10 minutes and Phillips has been playing the...
Phillips with the assist as Plymouth equalise. Plymouth had a free kick out wide which was knocked to the back post where Phillips was and with a cushioned volley knocks it back for Galloway to score
Even though Lange and Munn haven’t been in the building for a long time we obviously had planned well so we were able to get our business done early and then we were happy with our squad. No panic buying needed on deadline day and we started planning for the summer.
I think a lot of clubs will be in similar positions in the summer. Depending on what happens to Nottingham Forest it could see the 30th June become like a mini deadline day for teams at risk of breaking the PSR.
Despite what the article said it does make sense that we would at least have been consulted about any loan moves. Especially if Hadjuk weren’t going to play him. Interesting that they’re talking about the possibility of other Spurs players going out there. Would be interested to know who they’re...
