    I have a soft spot for Brentford since I moved more locally. Went to Griffin Park a bit with friends and enjoyed it. Went to the new ground for the Lille friendly. Just a shame they are in the same league now from a purely selfish perspective!

    Ralf Rangnick thinks Spurs would be a great move for Julian Nagelsmann.

    I thought Rangnick was the Austrian national team coach, so don't really see it as him angling for a DoF role with us. But given his relationship with JN and if the story is true then it can't hurt our cause to have him supporting a move to us.

    Like you I agree with what he says and he isn't taking responsibility. I would be happier if he had shown some willingness to change things up and drop certain players etc to promote those with the deisre he seems to want. But he undermines his cause by constantly picking just a select few players.

    Those responses pretty much encapsulate the ENIC approach and the reason we will not compete. They are content with European qualification and competing for (though not winning) honours. Reference to future FFP rules in 2025/26 shows the likely next set of excuses we will hear for not competing...
