    It's quite common to change the way you speak including sentence structure to help those understand where English isn't their first language. I imagine with dier's background and speaking Portuguese is why he'd understand this.

    Chelsea are in a genuinely tricky FFP position and one of the reasons CG is for sale is because he brings in 100% profit for their books. Any player they sign, regardless of that players position make his departure more likely. I think that's what the OP is referring to.

    Yeah I think this will be the case. They also have 1 remaining loan slot from a prem club and have been looking to use this on either a St or cb. A club will typically pick up a player they wouldn't otherwise be able to afford - be it transfer fee or wages wise.

    Apologies if this doesn't copy across well. It's barcas top journalist reporting on the news that fati has asked to leave and spurs are currently in the lead for his signature but..... I presume the but is because his Dad seems to prefer a loan to sevilla.

    I haven't seen as much of him post injury but do you think there's a chance he could play the withdrawn/false 9 role in our front 3? He has a great amount of composure I wonder if with his injury health a shift more centrally might be the direction his career goes.
