Hard to do when living overseas - I moved to the US so sending back for a name and number is prohibitively expensive, I would assume they consider international sales
There's a picture of an email from Donna Cullen flying about - I'm hesitant to post it in case it's not real but it does say there's "substantial amount of unsubstantiated speculation in the media"
She also has she/her under her email signature which is sending people on twitter into a frenzy 😒
Roma really need to get the hint - all the offers are loan with option (maybe due to his medical history) and they're wanting an obligation. If they're not careful they'll be paying for him to play in the reserves (if at all).
Isn't anything above 5 years a Club option (from reports I've heard)? If that's the case when and if they have to sell one of the players on these ridiculous contracts can't they just not exercise the option to keep the cost down? (the opposite of Brighton with Trossard)
It's not - any club triggering the release will also have to pay the associated taxes as the payment goes to the player as he has to pay the club (that's my understanding of it anyways)
Am I right in saying that the player has to pay his release clause and any associated tax that is due? If that's the case I can see why the structure is being negotiated to reduce the up-front fee
