    Dele Alli at Everton

Didn't know David Raya is so tiny, no wonder he couldn't save it 😝

I think that song plays at literally every stadium in England after a home win

I remember Jose said that directly to our players - you’re a bunch of nice guys, but nice guys don’t win. You have to be ****s lol

True and we don’t really have many pacy dribblers who tend to win penalties. But we also haven’t been given any soft ones which most clubs do get now and the

Maybe we don’t look for enough and don’t make a fuss when there’s a questionable challenge

Seems like Madueke wanted to take it because he won the pen, Palmer wanted it because he's the main penalty taker, and Jackson was backing up Madueke, and Gallagher backing Palmer

Who was wanting to take it, Madueke or or Jackson?

Cole Palmer also strikes me as having this almost sociopathic steeliness about him that Saka doesn't. I'd imagine Palmer would be unphased taking a penalty to win a world cup final for example while Saka would be shitting himself.

You have to watch Grealish to understand his importance. Man City is a much better side with him playing on the left. That's why Pep starts him in all the big games. Plus none of those players are at their best on the left side so really Grealish is the only option.

But comparing him to Saka, 5 of Saka's goals have also been penalties. So in non penalty goals and assists Palmer has more in a much worse overall team.

I'd bench Saka, put Foden #10 and Palmer on the right, and Grealish on the left. Then have players like Saka and Gordon to bring on if needed.

I don't really get the Branthwaite hype. Apparently Man United want to spent 70 million on this guy

That City academy has produced some really good players lately. Romeo Lavia as well. And I really rate Rico Lewis.

Lol Palmer won't be popular in the England camp, making Branthwaite and Pickford look like complete mugs

It's like Caicedo flips a coin before the game and is either superb or shit. Today he's playing very well randomly

He will do well for sure given time. Very unlucky with injuries but this is the kind of team Poch is great with - mostly young talents he can develop, no huge superstars

Could Palmer have a case to start for England over Saka?

    Premier League 2023/2024

Palmer has to be going to the Euros imo. One of England's best technical players. Also a great penalty taker evidently

    Conor Gallagher

Why wouldn't we just sign him then? If that's the case surely Ange would know that and we wouldn't be interested in Gallagher. Anyway it's hard to compare the ability of someone playing for Celtic vs playing in the premier league.
