This looks and feels like a very exciting signing.
Glad it seems our approach moving forward is to try to pick up one or two of these young exciting players at least yearly. Has worked wonders with Sarr and Udogie and offers very little downside at the fees involved anyway. Good recruitment.
I mean ultimately you cant blame the lad for choosing an arguably much better place to adapt and progress his career at Brentford. Lets not pretend they're some mugs, this is their model same as Brighton and they have a fantastic development coach in Thomas Frank.
This bloke gave his all over his years at the club and is by all accounts a thoroughly good human being too. Hope he does well in Germany and enjoys the rest of his career. Will always be Spurs. Good luck Eric.
Good vibes about this lad. Cant say i've seen much of him bar the odd Youtube or highlight posted in here, but seems to be built for the league first and foremost. Ange will do big things for him i reckon.
Feels like the Chelsea link is pretty weak. They're stacked at CB for starters, albeit with injuries. Silva, Badiashile, Disasi, Colwill, Chalobah, Fofana and arguably James and Cucurella who can all play CB, and they have an promising lad coming through in Alfie Gilchrist as well.
They...
Iling-Junior would be an excellent signing. Young, hungry and homegrown - If Ange wants him and I can see why he would, go and get him and let him coach into whatever he sees fit.
I have to say credit to Ange though, he has us coached impeccably going forward - its the lack of quality in depth at the back that really lets us down.
