common denominating factor - RM & chelski - common factors? buckets loads of cash - already top teams - so what are the common factors between them and spurs?
i like crouch, i'd like him a whole lot more if he did'nt get pushed off the ball so easily - he'd not as smart as pav but works bloody hard and that you cannot knock - he looks ungainly but then when did looks count?
now robbies gone I'd like to see pav get a chance as well as defoe crouch
playing better - but i'd like him a whole lot more if he cut out the fancy dan flicks that always seem to go wrong - 4 nil up - bit of fancy play - fine - 0 0 I think not
When I left spurs tonight- Bentley was being awarded Man of the Match - now I am not sure which match they meant but it cannot have been the one I had just watched.
Perhaps I am just biased now but I just don't like him - never a simple ball through always a couple of fancy flicks that come off...
gomes - 8
hutton - 4 - no reason other than he simply is not good enough
dawsun - 6.5 - some mistakes - but then heading the ball into a midlfield devoid of white shirts is not to be expected
bassong - 7
bale - 8 - boy did well
kranjcar - 6 not a good game for him - went awol
modric - 6...
I have always thought that Pav was a good player and of our 4 strikers I'd rate him at 2 or 3 - defoe would be no1 for me and crouch or pav interchangeable at no2 - if anyone needs to be sold it is keane who has clearly no recovered from him boyhood dream turning into a nightmare
cole and parker? are you on commission from west ham? for cole one good season does not make you a class player (remember one blackburn player that had a good season and we bought him)
would'nt like to see any of them play for us - though i'd like to see jenas learn to pass forward rather than...
I have to say the love affair with Ledders is irksome at times - he is not the player he was and if he were treated as a squad player who plays when fit then so be it and no in this respect he has not held us back provided the powers that be did not rely on him getting fit and never bought a...
that is an interesting point in that i'd hate to say what any player that cost 30m would have to do for me to consider him value for the club. quite frankly i'd not want to think think that about any bloke
are you talking about the same ramsey? the one taking fabrig arse's place?
i wonder sometimes how much football some people actually watch - highlights and tv do'nt always give a great view you know!
bent was top scorer at charlton and top league scorer when they went down - he is clearly a good player but not for us - personally the biggest problem for me was he is a completely one dimensional player - he does not have the deft touches - he can't seem to hold up the ball or play off others...
i can't remember the game now but it was when robbo was our goalie and fumbled the ball in front of chimbonda - chimbonda failed to clear and they scored.
the man in front of me clasped both hands to his face and exclaimed 'bloody hell chimbonda clear the f*ing thing'
f* off keane very common...
The way he treated our club - have him back - well course we would - what did he do then want a move to a title chasing club? we made 20m give or take from the transaction - that was good business.
Sadly he has been good for united he was their best player on Sunday and united fans who want...
