I think it’s the payments over 5 years that is rubbing them up the wrong way, though with our chairman they should be glad we didn’t offer over 55 years.

My understanding of transfers (which isn’t great) I think it’s unlikely Bayern would formally bid unless they have spoken to his agent and the player and at least have some understanding of the players demands
Whilst I appreciate selling players who are not in the managers long term plans to do so at the risk of unbalancing the squad (even more than it is) is foolhardy. Lo Celso can meet a need in this squad which other players can’t
I would just be worried about the impact of the ANC as we would lose Bissouma, Sarr (Orban if we were to sign him) and this guy which could potentially be a chunk of the first team.

The big part of the problem is that any new manager needs to work with the board, so when we see big names passed over it is probably because the board (baldy) have recognised that they will clash and then we will be back to square one in no time at all. So simple choice is a world class coach...
