Had a conversation with an Arsenal fan yesterday before playing football, he was adamant that they had 9 players out injured, when I highlighted the 5 missing and asked for the other players he could not name them, trying saying had some youths out... Also said that Timber just come back from...
Just had a quick look at the rules on the IFAB website, and they have below.. Which indicates that if you have a player in between you and the ball, and can't see the ball has been played then technically it should be called off-side, so if the ball was played to a player behind you, the player...
We seemed to get so many of those games, where the standard of ref between the two sides are different, go back to the battle of the bridge and the ref allowed Chelsea to foul without impunity.. Whilst I can understand letting the game go, letting a strong / late challenge go in the first 10...
What I found interesting was the point of the ball used, not sure you have an exact rule around this... Believe the rule just states behind the ball, where as he was actually level with the ball... They took the front of the ball, if they would have used back of the ball then it could have...
Whilst we don't have a general referee talk, thought this would be the best place to discuss... I can't believe how bad Anthony Taylor was yesterday as a ref, So many strange decisions.. Can't believe how a villa player was not booked, when ours were booked for a shoulder barge... They had...
Whilst it low, elbowing someone across the throat is warrant of red card... Same as when players turn and block you running by turning sideways... That is a red card in rugby because they know the impact it has on the brain.. Like you say if that was the another team / player it would have...
What I have found interesting that nothing has been made off the VVD elbow to Richarlison... He knew what he was doing when he did that... I was in the pub watching whilst playing a pool match, and everyone thought it was a red card offence and could not believe that it was checked... If he...
Whilst we had no fight, have to think how much energy they have… Liverpool were able to rest most of the players In Europe and only have 2 players out injured (Arnold and Gomes and Arnold got injured at the weekend).. We were not able to rest players due to have to ensure we finished within the...
I think you do him an injustice around competing for the ball... He was doing well considering the amount of time he was being held / pulled back... Seems like defenders can do what they like to our players up front, the amount of times our players are pushed / pulled to the floor with out us...
This can be quite easily dealt with, any person with a head injury has to be assessed.. Saying they are taken off the pitch and then assessed and can't come back into play at minimum amount of time say 1 minute and then it has to be the next break in play... Soon find that it will stop...
I was bored at work so worked a potential table, based on the worst possible results for the other games, this doesn't take into account goal difference... I've presumed we got a draw... So you can see that we have quite a few games which are critical, if Man U win, then FSCB will not go...
Got that on whats app group today from a liverpool supporter.. Didn't respond going to wait until after the 2nd leg of the semi... Fingers crossed with a good result.
Yeah, bit of a shock and surprising to go to a team in regulation... But disappointed for my local team considering they had a good chance off going up and the way they were playing.. Hope they get a good manager in..
