Great signing, but Levy is an absolute c*ck for waiting until Lens agreed a lower fee than £25m with Wolves. When you factor in that each league position is worth £3.1m, paying around £20m may have saved £5m, but arguably cost us a couple of places in the league—worth £6.2m—by not signing him at...
Ian Wright is bang on!
“They should have been winning things, because of the owner – they haven’t won anything with him, have they? With Levy at the helm.
“Tottenham used to win trophies, used to win FA cups, they used to win stuff. It’s him.
“He’s the one, they’ve got to get him out and get an...
Donna’s already working with the graphic designer to mock up a caped Levy riding in on his 'Wheelbarrow-mobile'—our very own take on the Batmobile! We could even have Levy gazing up at the dark city sky with the Wheelbarrow-mobile projected as his signal.
What would be a reasonable fee to buy Gomes with just five months left on his contract, and would Levy be willing to pay it? Honestly, I can’t understand why Levy doesn’t see the logic in securing him earlier. The higher we finish in the league, the more the club would earn, which could easily...
I think I could forgive Levy if he went back now and somehow managed to convince Poch to rejoin within the next few days—and actually decided to back him this time! I believe Poch could save us from relegation and help continue the rebuild. The current squad seems ideal for him
This post definitely deserves to be a sticky!
I think Levy will always defend himself by pointing to the money 'spent' over the last 4–5 years as being sufficient to challenge. However, if we were back to challenging like we were under Poch and come January our main striker was injured...
Assuming Spurs qualify for the knockout stages, they should be able to register three more players on February 6th. I’d expect those to include Antonin Kinsky, Djed Spence, and one other—either a new signing or Min-hyeok Yang. However, I’m not sure how this impacts the homegrown status, as it...
I think the lowest any deal could be is £45m + add-ons, but doubt Saints would let him go for less than £50 + add-ons. Hopefully, we stump up the cash!
I think £40m would be the absolute minimum I'd expect him to be sold for, given that's what Gray went for. That said, with his EPL experience, you'd expect at least an additional £5–10m on top. I don’t see how this kid goes for less than £50m.
Well, when you consider both Richie and Solanke coming in around the £60m mark, you’d anticipate a similar valuation. He’s done okay in the internationals, so that seems like a fair figure, and given what they paid for him, £50m would be a good deal. The only downside is that he hasn’t proven...
Okay, so how much are they asking for? How far do we think Levy might realistically stretch to? What do we estimate he's worth? I'd suggest a realistic structure could be £40m plus a £5m loan fee with an obligation to buy, or £50m plus a £5m option to buy.
I know this looks like I’m bumping my own post—and I am—but I think it’s time for a 'Levy Out' pinned thread across all Spurs forums. Spurs fans need to mobilize and coordinate for this change
Then the fan's across all Spurs forums need to coordinate and choreograph a 'Levy Out' tifo instead of the 'To Dare Is To Do! ! And, do this every week until we see a change.
