Yeah it seems like they've doubled the price from that Juve game. That was a great game to watch but I dunno, this price just feels disrespectful to a fan haha
You can tell from body language and positioning (not to mention the constant high 5s) that Romero trusts Emerson a lot. I think when you have confidence and trust in the guy next to you, the dire defending disappears.
Hi fellow Singaporean Spurs.
Has anyone bought tics to Spurs vs Roma on the 26th of July? Spurs vs Juve a couple of years ago was a blast but I'm hesitating this time because I think the ticket prices are ridiculous, and we might not even have a manager by then 😂
Am I overthinking it?
Strongly agree with this re: not being able to get a real impression of him from his highlight videos - was severely underwhelmed with almost all his recent compilation vids.
In fact when the Zorro ITK first broke I was rather disappointed, personally would really rather we get Maddison or...
Yeah, he doesn't strike me as the kinda player that's going to bang in tons of goals like Sonny or Kane, but it does seem like he doesn't let the big occasion overawe him. in fact he seems to have the ability to upset the opposition team by some weird combination of shithousery and being pretty...
Thanks for that. In that sense I think he's worth a punt as a loan with option.
How many times have we gotten close over the last 5-6 seasons and failed to deliver in finals (League Cup final x2, Champions League final, Battle of The Bridge etc.) despite the ability of our world class...
Question to the people who watch Serie A and have some knowledge of his Conference League games (@Ghost Hardware @fishhhandaricecake ) - Considering he scored a hattrick in the QF and the winning goal in the finals, would you consider him a clutch/delivers-on-the-big-occasions kinda player...
It looked to me like
Keeley/Austin
Fagan-Walcott
Davies
Doc
Emerson
Sarr
White
Perisic/Sayers
Deki
Gil
Parrott
It looked like they started with a 4231 to mimic Sevilla's formation, then later switched to a 343 when Austin and Sayers came in for Keeley and Perisic respectively. Seemed like...
Yeah, again I might be wrong as I fast forwarded thru some parts, but it looked like White got shifted between CM and LWB/LB depending on what Conte was trying to drill into the players.
Sarr on the other hand was CM regardless of phase of training.
Interesting that Lucas ONLY played RWB...
Doc and Perisic both played a little bit of LWB but it was mostly Sess.
Looked to be Perisic's first session with ball work for us.
If i'm not mistaken, the final part of training ended with our "first team" being Lloris, Sanchez, Dier, Romero, Sessegnon, Lucas, Hobby, Skipp, Son, Kane...
From the 2.5 hr training video that was posted on Youtube, Lucas played RWB for pretty much the entirety of the 11 vs 10 drills and mini match.
Both sides played mostly 343 but at the end I think the "reserve" side switched to 4 at the back to mimic Sevilla, but Lucas remained at RWB for the...
Would it be accurate to say he mostly played on the left of a 3 for Inter, and sometimes as 1) part of a deep lying two 2) and sometimes as the 10 in front of a deep lying two?
If so, that gives us a lot of tactical flexibility.
Pretty solid defensively again and good energy.
Anybody think he still has a place in our squad as a defensive RWB and perhaps as cover for Romero at RCB?
I'm starting to feel he has the attributes to play RCB - Good heading, strong in the tackle, inconsistent with holding the line sometimes...
