    I don't see much difference in terms of squad rotation if we go for a LB/LCB instead? If we sign e.g. Hermoso he can cover either VdV or Udogie, but as soon as they both need a rest we'll be playing Davies. If we sign Christensen he can cover VdV directly, or if Udogie needs a rest then VdV...

    Would prefer both, but happy with either. CB is the bigger priority right now though in terms of the first XI. I think Zaniolo is a good player and fills a gap in the squad, but I mainly want us to sign him to show we are serious in backing Conte.

    Thanks for the insight! You mention as a wingback that it's easier to defend as a unit of 5 out of possession, but aren't you also more likely to be caught out of position when in transition, relative to the fullback in a back four? But overall, you'd say the fullback is caught out more frequently?
