Cheers, a yellow would be fair but a straight red felt pretty harsh.

Was that a straight red for a late shoulder barge on Mikey?

Spain will be absolutely gutted, been the better side but then our boy pulls that out of the bag!

England very much second best at the moment. Spain working harder and being a lot more aggressive.

Let's All Laugh At... let's all laugh at United

Agree with a lot of that. My worry is that Poch goes there, if they leave him to it then I think he could do quite well there.

Let's All Laugh At... let's all laugh at United

For "the richest club in the world" I'd expect them to be doing a lot better. A cup run or two is the bare minimum for them and they will feel that they should be competing at the very top - which they aren't doing. The club have backed him with the players he wanted to buy, so he can't use...

Let's All Laugh At... let's all laugh at United

I think it's probably the right thing to do to move him on and try again with someone else. However, such a real lack of class to leak the news before they do it.

Almost as good as Spurs bringing an old player out of the vaults beneath the stadium!

    Mauricio Pochettino

United are the obvious answer and I can see it getting the INEOS seal of approval.

    The Managerial Merry-go-round

Absolutely, just feels a bit hasty for me. If he is confident in his ability, a season in the Prem (assuming he does reasonably well) will only enhance his reputation.

    The Managerial Merry-go-round

This all feels a bit harsh on Ipswich - if true of course! https://www.theguardian.com/football/article/2024/may/20/brighton-pushing-to-seal-deal-for-ipswich-manager-kieran-mckenna

    Player Watch: Emerson Royal

Seems to be a nice guy to have around the place but has something wrong with him, never seen a player "fall over" quite as often . . .

    Manager Watch: Ange Postecoglou

We should give him time at least partly because there is no real alternative. We've pretty much tried everything else over the last few years. It's why I wonder what those who aren't convinced want to do instead - a proven winner perhaps? :cautious:

I still think he's the real deal and I hope that Levy and co give him the tools he needs to succeed.
