Davies has played enough LCB of a 3 to pretty much know the position and another plus means Sanchez is definitely not LCB (Unless Jose is really trolling us )

Looking forward to seeing how Vince (not Vinny ) links up with Bale and Moura.

Well he's in the squad at least and to be fair it's no surprise he's behind Lamela on current form. He just seems to be 3rd choice now behind Ndombele and Lamela. He can turn it around though and it's nice to have this competition for places rather than him being a certain starter all the time.

It's always exciting to see a new striker start. It's probably the position that excites me most when a new players comes into that position. Just a shame it's overshadowed by Bale somewhat but could at least help take the pressure and expectation off him.

Great line-up but would much rather see Aurier here and Doherty in the league side. Makes sense with Bales lack of back track...... maybe when Bale is fit enough to start in league?
