As some of you know, I was responsible for opening Tottenham Food Bank a year ago at the old Tottenham Town Hall.

It's been an incredible first year, with huge support from our community including you guys, the club and the Supporters Trust- all of which as a Spurs fan make me incredibly proud.

Yesterday I received an email from the Supporters Trust informing me of their intention to join Newcastle and Liverpool in encouraging people to boycott the PPV £14.95 and instead donate to a local food bank, and in our case it's us at Tottenham Food Bank.

They told me they weren't going public just yet, but today they have https://www.thstofficial.com/thst-news/pay-per-view-games-and-support-for-tottenham-foodbank

For context, the Trussell Trust is predicting that this winter across the country 6 food parcels will be given out every minute, such is the level of need right now.

£14.95 would feed (off the top of my head) around 2.5 families in Tottenham.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

This is a fantastic idea and after reading that Newcastle and Liverpool fans were doing it I hoped we would also, I even joined the THST earlier this week just to check if anyone was talking about it, I'll be donating

This is a really good idea. We should get this shared every where.

Great project and great idea to support this cause. I know from experience, am involved in a project elsewhere, how many people are struggling to meet the basic needs of their families

Donated 15GBP from USA. Going to make my local supporters club, Philadelphia Spurs, aware. Hopefully more money to come from across the pond.

Wouldn't it make more sense to donate to your local community in the name of Spurs instead?

Great to see.

Still think it’s odd people using Just Giving whilst Crowdfunder is free and doesn’t take a cut of the money. People must love sending a cut of the money to the US.

Just donated. Total now up to £75,518 - amazing work! In an odd way it's great that the thieving nature of the PPV has prompted fans to put their money instead towards such an important cause
