We need minimum 5 CB if we are going to play 3 at the back from time to time.
We'll have Davies in that scenario though so currently have 5 for a back 3 (Davies, Dier, Alderweireld, Tanganga, Sanchez). I do think 5 natural centre backs is good for depth but not crucial.

Really hope he gets first team football in a Spurs shirt this season. Sanchez hasn't kicked on as much as I hoped after his first season, would much rather see Tanganga develop alongside Toby and Dier.

Cirkin out on loan sure, but not sure I like the rumours of Tanganga going out.

Send him to Norwich on loan so him and Skipp can get used to playing together

IF he's not going to play for us, even though I think he is ready, and will be at the least our 2nd best CB at the end of the season, then Norwich could work. They've lost Godfrey and are light in that area. It would male sense with our links and Skipp

Think it would be good for him if we do bring in Rodon. Give him a year playing regularly and hopefully he can come in next season and challenge for a first team spot.

Same goes for Cirkin, although I think it may be a couple of seasons out on loan for him.
What would be the sense of bringing in Rondon and loaning out Tanganga when it could be that Tanganga is better than Rondon ? anyway it will be CCV who goes if Rondon comes in.

Needs to play and is still too risky to get the amount of game time needed this season if we fancy a tilt at the title. I think its a no brainer and next season is when he should be integrated fully. He will benefit hugely from 30 plus games this season even if it is at Championship level. This is on the proviso Rodon arrives, if not then he will get matches and we will most likely need the depth for the Xmas period/injuries.

Yeah I don’t agree with. He showed last season that he isn’t a one lethal mistake a game type of player (which is Foyth’s issue). He will of course make mistakes, everyone does, however he is competent, energetic and crucially relatively mature when it comes to option selection

I have read that Tanganga may go on loan also this Swansea lad may be loaned back for a season both moves seem ludicrous to me .
We are after Rodon because we need a centre half then why oh why would you send both on loan also what's the rush to sign a centre half if you are going to loan him out straight away ? does not make sense to me .

This is it. I don't remember him doing anything in any of his games, that I haven't seen any of our current experienced CBs doing, but people are obsessed with him going out and learning the game, when he has played well enough for our first team. Yet Rodon is likely to come in, and make as many mistakes anyway, and is likely not ready to be our starting CB

To be fair that also applies to Sanchez.

So they are going to loan out Tangs and Roden but keep CCV, not a chance !

Hope we don't loan him out. He is good enough to start many games for us. We have so many games in a compressed season, we will definitely need him as he can play both CB and RB.

I am not saying that Tanganga is for definite going on loan I am only repeating what I have read . It to seems stupid if you need a centre back to sign Rodon and send him back to Swansea for a year . Also read fro a different outlet that Tanganga would go on loan . All I am saying is that most fans would want to keep the pair as that would make sense and I hope the rumours are false .

I’d say there’s a good chance he’ll break into first team with Toby on decline and Sanchez still being a bit inconsistent, although Sanchez could also come good with a run and building up confidence as feel it’s more psychological than ability that holds him back.

Wouldn’t looks to loan as would leave us quite short there.

Perhaps we want to sign him before another good season pushes his value up and other clubs become interested (pushes the price up even more and risking us losing out). We did it with Dele!
