It may not be a case of not getting Skriniar has made us scrabble around in the Championship.
We may have had an eye on some rising talent for a while and it's always been the plan to have a try in this bonus little window.
Whether we got Skriniar, or not.

Yeah, I second this. It's also entirely possible that we saw Skriniar as an opportunity this window the way we saw Dybala last summer and that it's unlikely to come again with the same player in the following windows.

Sergio buy back clause
RM cannot just demand we sell him back at profit in the next 3 windows as a guide. Not that simple! The player has to want to go back! And I cannot see that happening, as he is loving life in London, and with us, and wants to stay a very long time

I lived in London and was loving life there as well. After a time I had enough and went back to my home country.
Lets just chill and see how he is going on in our dress.

Agree. What young man on his kind of salary wouldn’t love living in London. Sooner or later he will meet a young lady, hopefully one that is local and he gets more of a reason to stay. But when a Madrid come calling, it’s not a difficult decision for a your a Spaniard.

My last word on Sergio. All goes to plan he will be here a long time. We would not of engaged on ‘buy-back’ if we felt he would be back in Madrid couple years!

Sergio grew up a lifelong Real Madrid supporter and came up through their academy. I can’t imagine him turning down the opportunity to re-join them if/when that happens.

I would of been happy with a 2 year loan so no point stressing too much about the far future in my opinion.

Yep. If he gets the chance to go back he likely will but it is also entirely possible that he falls in love with our club as well. Time will tell!

Sure. But you're not playing for your idol's club with said idol, in what could potentially be our best season yet.
