Cracking job everyone. Really enjoyed it!

And we re-signed Gareth Bale. Can’t ask for more than that......Unless 80’s Hoddle is available??

I've been in this forum for as long as I can remember but I have never enjoyed a more fulfilling window in this forum quite like this one that has just passed.

Often, it's heartbreak after despair, particularly on deadline day but yesterday was really comforting knowing, as Trix alluded to, all bases are more or less covered.

Obviously Skriniar would have been the cherry but the fact that we are still actively seeking alternatives in the CB area shows that the manager is being backed in the manner that I have never seen before.

Honestly can't wait for the season to resume, because in all of this transfer talk, it's so easy to forget we still have a certain Gareth Bale to kick a ball in anger for us.

Onwards COYS.

Upped my monthly by £15 as promised. What a window and what a great constant flood of ITK we've had. Thank you all so much.

I thought I'd be back to working properly today but Trix has already pulled me back in.

Thanks to the mods, the ITKs, the community as a whole. Jose has the squad to go and prove he's still got it now.

Bsodl can hold their heads high this morning. Levy and team filled every slot(yes every slot) Jose wanted filled, and threw in Bale for good measure. Bought before we got the outs which is unprecedented for Levy, and did it all without a massive outlay.

Such a contrast to the last few windows, partly down to Covid, partly down to having Hitchen and Birch, and partly down to having a manager not fixated only on certain individuals.

I'd say the back of house team now matches the stadium and training ground, and given time the first team will be at that point as well.

Whatever happens there will be no room for Jose to blame the board if things don't go as planned.

This is what many of us have wanted to see and hear for ages, so so good to hear. Now to add some tin pots.
Incredible transfer window in so many ways, well done Levy, Hitchen, Birch, Jose etc.
COYS.

Ok so we've brought in a Goal Keeper, Right Back, Left Back Defensive Midfielder, Striker and a world super star this window and more than likely a Centre Back too, that's nothing short of a fantastic window, superb business.
Add to them a wide forward and whatever Jedson Fernandes is in January and we've almost bought ourselves an entire team since Jose came in plus keeping all our 1st team players save Eriksen.
I can't help thinking:-
"Watch us Rise."

Massive kudos to the Spurscommunity team as well it's been a blast!??????

Really enjoyed that window. Also interesting that JJ confirmed to me that Eriksen was indeed on the table at one point.

Incredible window quite frankly, we built on a strong window last summer and we've seen the benefits of getting players in early in key positions with how quickly Hojbjerg has taken control of our midfield. Everybody involved deserves huge heaps of praise, We've never had a squad like this.

Levy deserves a lot of praise, the reality is Arsenal had to wait 8 years after their stadium was built to finally start buying players off the back of it, we've done so right away, last season might have been down to the champions league money boost but this summer has blown all expectations out the water. Everything seems elite level now, our stadium, training, pitch, our manager, our backroom with the changes this summer, the way we went about our business. All we're missing is trophies and the squad and manager have been given everything they need to compete on that front, there's no looking upstairs now.

Also still waiting on payday and will donate as soon as I can. This place has been as fun a distraction as ever.

Signing top talent from the championship is what got us on the upward trajectory in the first place under Jol (Walker, Dawson, Lennon, Simon Davies, Hudd etc). And is causing no harm to the likes of Leciester (Maddison), West Ham (Bowen) and Villa (Cash, Watkins).

We've got a great blend this window from age, price and experience perspective. The star names from Real, the proven players from the PL and the speculative back up players.

Kudos to Daniel Levy, who heeded Josè advice and took advantage, or get left behind. Without Josè we could not of done the dual Real Madrid deals. He played a big part with his links and friendships at boardroom level there. Kudos to DL listening, stepping back a lot (though still heavily involved) and let his new charges, including Birch engineer things. Do not in any way underestimate Steve Hitchen’s influence. COYS!!!
