I’m not getting carried away at all, it’s still early days but the positive signs are definitely there. The squad mentality alone seems to have drastically improved, and they will have had a further boost from the manner of yesterday’s win. If José gets everyone pulling in the same direction, with a siege mentality, then that’s half the battle of unlocking the potential in this squad.

We also seem a lot smother going forward in the last couple of games with a much better balance between defence and attack. You can actually see what Mourinho is trying to achieve, which wasn’t always the case last season. ? ?

Hope Jose can pull Kane, GLC, Dier etc into his office and convince to pull out from the upcoming internationals. He would have a legitimate reason given that the team has travelled and played in more games than any other team in the league.

Kane is captain (and love it or not, he actually cares about the national side) so I doubt it'll happen.

This is a great point. It is the same with Arteta..... The games they have won against City/Liverpool etc he has literally just parked the bus and hit them on the counter and he is hailed as a tactical genius. When Jose does it he is a dinosaur.
