So it's a buyers market in COVID conditions. That's great and all until you're actually trying to sell.

Can't have it both ways. So are we really confident that our valuations reflect the COVID market place?

Because if they don't we won't be moving anyone on.

We'll just loan players out this window knowing we're likely to get more if we sell them post covid. It's better to buy now than sell and I think we're one of the clubs who can affordto do that.

70m for Dele in a COVID market is a bargain!

I wouldn't worry about them not getting it from your hints mate, I said it outright backend of July/early August.

Coming to realise with every new update all previous one are discounted by all the goldfish like fanny munchers.

Yes yes, I know, and all the cock smokers too.
Are Fanny Munchers and Cock Smokers Home Grown and just as importantly are either of them back up strikers ?

Nothing wrong with fanny munching. ?

I'd point out that it depends on which side of the Atlantic you are when you infer that, but then again I've read some of the off-topic stuff so I know it won't make a difference for a lot of you :ROFLMAO:

Interesting that Hercules said that if Dele goes we'll look to bring in another UK based and hopefully homegrown midfielder. I can't think of too many candidates who might be available at the moment.

Let's not get into guessing games of who it could be though.

Jose's comments aren't really for this thread gents. You might want to delete and head elsewhere to discuss. You don't want a ban in the last week

Stay above it and no need to comment that way imo. You’ll see from my previous replies or reps that I don’t comment like that but really? No need.

Happy with all that but would rather we kept Aurier. Think if we sold Foyth, CCV, Rose and Dele that should be enough.
The problem is it doesn't allow us to bring in a non HG CF.

We have to sell another non HG player. Aurier is the stand out one as he's already had plenty of links/interest.

But if we sold CCV, Foyth, Dele and Rose then surely we'd have enough spots?
If not then we could just about sell him but it would mean playing Tanganga and Gedson RWB in cup games and if Doherty got injured I don't think either of them are the required quality we need whereas Aurier would be.

But TB ITK seems to say we aren't getting bids matching our valuations so either our valuations are too high for this market or there is just not enough serious interest in the players we want to sell and either way this is a big issue, that is probably where selling or loaning dele could be the move that free's up the funds we need.

Just for clarity - we can buy as many non-HG players as we want, we only have a limit to the number we can name in the first team squad.

We could buy a non-HG forward tomorrow, and if we needed a space in the squad, we could (theoretically) not name Foyth in our final PL squad to make room for him. It’s just not the Levy way.

Levy best lower his asking prices then to get rid of players and their wages otherwise he will be paying players wages for not playing and they will be reducing assets.

see Barca as case study for Vidal and Suarez for eg. Just cancel Rose contract n let him go for free ffs

we win some we lose some, can’t get good deals on our purchase but still hope to get TOP dollar for our deadwood

we have a highly bloated squad!

Love to see your face if your boss came in one morning and said “fuck off mate, you’re fired, no notice, no pay, just go away”.

Contracts work both ways.

your point is valid insofar as the player in question wanting to stay. U mean Rose wants to? Even without a squad number?
Doesn’t he think that he can still get into the England squad for Euros? ?

"I was in the wrong thread"

Fuckoff. The number of times i'm seeing that is getting embarrassing now.

I've posted in the wrong thread myself so I know it happens and I also know it doesn't happen very fucking often but in here it's like a bastard epidemic.

I'm not saying some of you are stupid, let's just say you are constantly unlucky when it comes to thinking.

Milik highly unlikely as things stand but he isn’t our first choice. Spurs don’t want to pay the money asked for a player into last year of contract with his injury record

Don’t have an issue with that, just as long as we get a striker in soon.

Thanks for sharing
