It's a very good point actually and the perfect comparison.

Dele and Dier as we know were always the best of mates. Whilst I'm not suggesting they're not still close, we're not seeing the little social media bits and bobs of them together like we used to. The fact that Dele went on that - let's be honest here - kids holiday (with them all wearing all those nonsense clothes etc as well), while Eric went away with a bunch of the foreign lads and was pictured doing watersports etc...

It's a great metaphor for how their careers and attitudes have gone. Dier - you can see it in every interview - is desperate to be a winner. He may not have the same natural talent as Dele, but his work ethic and determination to make the most of his career is obvious. Dele on the other hand, just seems to want to enjoy his life as much as possible while he's young, and rely on his prodigious natural talent to carry him through.

You don't have to be a genius to know which one Jose will favour, which one he will rely on in the crunch times.
Yep. That's it I think.

At United, Jose wanted Pogba and Martial out, not cause they are lazy, but because they put themselves before the team. Martial has to play CF otherwise he's not happy, Pogba has to take stupid risks with the ball cause he wants to show off his skills.

United didn't support that decision and it turned sour.

Two years later and they still haven't won anything with that group of players.

If Jose thinks Dele can't have the mentality he wants then he is right to sell.

We need to hold some players back from the internationals, it's ridiculous that they're going to go off and play potentially 3 more matches with their countries.
The commentator talking about whether Bale will be going on duty with Wales royally pissed me off. He should be nowhere near that team next month.

To be honest, most managers want players who work hard and put the team first above all else. Where Mourinho differs, I think, is that he's not forgiving of those who don't - even the most supremely talented player is only one part of a larger unit and the unit always comes first for him.

I like that.

Everybody forgets that whilst most players went on holidays in their private jets during the winter break, Dier flew economy to the Sahara dessert with a friend. Maybe to find himself and find that motivation and drive again after long period of injuries, illness and poor form.

I've always felt this was a massive turning point for him and since that break I've definitely noticed Dier being hungrier.

Why does Darren Bent seem upset we won?
TBF to him Bent wasn't really a crowd favourite for Spurs, so why should he have any do us many favours? I'm just grateful for less ex Man U and 'pool pundits TBH.
At least he seemed impartial (to me at least)

The commentator talking about whether Bale will be going on duty with Wales royally pissed me off. He should be nowhere near that team next month.
Whilst I get your point there's no way GB isn't getting called up for Wales if he's just lacking fitness rather than carrying an injury.

Can someone give me the rationale why our best pen taker went 5th? If it went horribly wrong he wouldnt even be taking one. It's so stupid

Our best pen takers should be the first 3 as they are all guaranteed to take them
