People compare him to Dembele which makes sense. But I’ve never seen a player who passes like him in my life, it’s mesmerizing the amount of thought that goes into the weight, the height, the direction of each ball. Something special.
And often one-touch passes. He has unbelievable skill.

The best player on the squad. A pity that Mourinho does not make him play with Lo Celso ... I think Tanguy is winning the position, and Lo Celso will remain as a substitute.

Somebody in this thread said it after the Newcastle cameo -- it's artistry.

Would it be accurate to say he's a bit like Yaya Toure?
100%. He lacks yaya’s size but I’d actually say he’s more technically gifted, which is not a knock on yaya at all. Both have this languid style and then burst into life out of nowhere.

I'm so happy we stuck with him.

For the record he isn't really like any previous player I have seen? He is completely unique. He is amazing.

I think he does, it was just that both of them coming back from injury on different timelines and being in 3 competitions a week for the last couple doesn't help since no one wants to see us roll out a Winks, Sissoko, Gedson midfield. I think that after the international break when we face the spammers we will start to see that Hoj/Ndom/Lo Celso midfield.

His speed of thought and execution of passes is quite unique. All the signs were there last season but now he's proved that he has the desire andstrength to succeed. Quite a turn around for a player that only a few weeks ago so many wanted rid of.

I was so anxious looking for him during the celebrations at the end to see if he made it over. When I finally saw him (albeit 3 minutes later) I celebrated all over again.

The cult of Ndombele has well and truly dished out the koolaid now

I don't think he is anything like yaya honestly. That is why people wrote him off. He isn't a crazy athlete he is a crazy footballer.
