Ndom is a supremely talented lad, only 23 years old and you can see from the documentary that he is pretty quiet and almost shy. Add this to coming to a new country, to a team in a bit of turmoil and then the whole Covid situation and it adds up to a difficult time for him.

Now I’m not totally letting him off without blame aswell for being seemingly unfit but he definitely deserves time to show us what he is capable of. With this time and in a midfield with Gio & PEH, and our super front 3 I think he could become the vital first team player we all want him to become.

I did. And it is exactly what he infers.
Inferring (which is subjective) and saying are two different verbs but lets leave it there.
You’re both misusing the word infer ? you mean imply.

To infer is to deduce, conclude or appreciate. E.g. you say ‘fucking Ndombele, can’t stay away from the kebab shop’, from which I infer that you are implying Ndombele is fat.

Sorry to be a tart, I see this mistake often on here and this was the time I decided to say scratch that itch. It ranks with people typing ‘of’ rather than ‘’ve’ or say less when they mean fewer on my pedantrometer ?.

I wonder how much of this is down to Sissoko. Only showed glimpses in the doc but he is clearly very grounded and has his own example of bouncing back from a poor start.
Sissoko is a brilliant human being. He’s supportive and kind, but also committed and determined. He might be technically limited but he’s a great example for the virtues of hard work and steely determination

At first glance, our fixture schedule looked/looks like a nightmare, but I get the feeling that it has been of some benefit to a few of our players (Ndombers, Kane, Hoijberg, to name a few) insofar as they may be getting fitter quicker by playing matches rather than training.

Absolutely. Mourinho has used the EL games like pre-season matches to build up fitness, hence the strong line-ups. No doubt the Orient game would’ve been the same.
Trickier this week with Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday and the level of opposition.

If you need any reminding why he’s one in a million, watch this highlight video.

One thing is very certain about him, when he turns the entire midfield with one shoulder drop or twist, the players in front of him better be making runs into space.

He loves to release a through ball on the turn. This is the key to our counter attacking play. If we can get this right, we will score a lot more goals through the middle than we do now.

There are so many times he's drilled a pass through the lines where an attacker has miscontrolled it due to not expecting the ball to come. If he can stay fit, and our attackers learn to better anticipate the ball (Ndombele tends to disguise his line breaking passes very well), then we'll be in for some sexy stuff.
