This isn't the ref's fault, it isn't the VAR's fault; this is a rule that is fundamentally unfit for purpose.

And we should've been out of sight but that feels neither here nor there.

Of course it's the ref's fault. We'd have had 3 penalties if he applied the rule consistently.

There should be a movement by football fans to cancel all Sky and BT Sport subscriptions and cite the stupid new handball rule. Put some real pressure of the stupid rule makers.

Yes of course we could have put the game to bed. However, the rule is phenomenally bad. So bad. No one who has ever played or referreed the game could genuinely say this rule is correct. I feel sorry for the refs. Taken completely out of their hands. I have no more words.

Waste of time watching games now. Gonna be this garbage every game, everyone is just trying to flick the ball into players arms, we tried it few times too today. It’s genuinely ruined football with one rule change.

It’s our fault for not killing the game but we have just dropped points from a penalty from a non-free kick that’s hit a defender from behind in the top of the arm from all of 1 m. It’s a joke

It's not our fault. United won many a game 1 nil to win titles.

That's a fucking disgrace, pure and simple.
