You could have easily skipped it and commented on the fact that both PSG and Chelsea have now been linked with him or that Inter are waiting on us to lodge a formal/actual bid ....

Seeing that Sissoko could possibly be heading to inter and Skriniar to Spurs. Anyone know if there is any truth in this? Also, does anyone else feel that Sissoko is important to keep at the club to act as a Ndombele intermediary?

Mercato - PSG: New XXL threat for Milan Skriniar?

Paris Saint-Germain are still looking for the successor of Thiago Silva. As Leonardo explores the Milan Skriniar runway, other contestants step in for the Inter Milan defender.

As the summer transfer window approaches, Paris Saint-Germain is still far from having strengthened its team up to what was expected. In addition to needs in attack and in midfield, Thomas Tuchel also wants reinforcement in central defense. After devoting himself to Kalidou Koulibaly in recent weeks, Leonardo has activated the track leading to Milan Skriniar . The Slovenian does not fit into Antonio Conte's plans , and has a way out. The Inter Milan has set its price at € 60M, a sum that no suitor is at present willing to pay, although Tottenhamwould consider breaking the bank to offer José Mourinho a player he has been targeting for a long time.

Chelsea ready for new follies

But Spurs are not the only English team showing an interest in the 25-year-old center-back. Indeed, according to information from Gazzetta Dello Sport , it is now Chelsea who have shown an interest in Milan Skriniar , and the Blues would be ready to put more than € 50 million on the table! A credible hypothesis for a team which could seek reinforcement in defense in the event of the departure of Antonio Rudiger , who is also on the shelves of Paris Saint-Germain . Especially since Antonio Conte , who has never hidden his wish to see N'Golo Kanté join Inter, could use Milan Skriniar to negotiate. It is therefore a serious contender who interferes in this Leonardo file!
Can't see the PSG part being true, they can't afford it. They already need to raise €50m to comply with FFP.

Interesting that Conte reportedly sees Kante as the missing piece of his Inter jigsaw. They will need serious money to buy him, so maybe our haggling with Inter is going to be influenced by their ability to negotiate a lower price with Chelsea. #merrygoround

Time for Ndombele to pull on his big boy pants and get on with it. We need to free up non HG squad spaces now.

I sure we could hire Ndombele a French friend who doesn't take up a squad place and cost us between 50-100k a week. I would be happy to be his friend for that much per year....unfortunately my French is merde.

I heard Joe tried having a Hart to Heart with him in French, but when they got together it was merde-er. :cautious:

Inter are playing Fiorentina tonight I wonder if he'll play, I suspect he will but it will be interesting if he doesn't.

Inter can also just do a swap deL with Chelsea, whose defence looks diabolical

Kinell now NDombele is a factor in buying Skriniar? Fck off.

I wouldn’t hesitate to punt Sissoko but if Jose wants this bloke that much then Levy needs to put up regardless.

Otherwise what’s the point - just get on with buying the striker you bald git

Definitely seems like a game of who blinks first going on. Though hopefully Hercules ITK yesterday to ignore the ‘soap opera’ is just this and Inter are using the media to save face

Given that Lampard’s Chelsea plays a very aggressive high line, isn’t it somewhat unlikely that they would be interested in a defender who is out of favour at his current club precisely because he is uncomfortable playing in a high line? And isn’t it equally unlikely that the player in question would want to go to another club that plays thus?

I get that Spurs fans are always nervous when deals for desirable players aren’t concluded the instant they become public, but we’ll all live much healthier lives for not concocting doomsday scenarios in our heads whenever our targets are also linked to other clubs.

If Kante goes, Lampard wants Rice so all funds recouped funds will go towards him
