Glad to hear we’re in for a quarterback style CM, Winks’ defensive positioning is miles away from good enough. It’s absolutely a position we should be looking to upgrade.
Rakitic has been confirmed to Sevilla, I wonder if the player might be Brozovic — he’s got more than a year left on his contract but Conte reportedly wants shot of him so Inter may be willing to sell at a reasonable price.

I think it was meant on an emotional level. It's been left so long that a few of the players like Rose and Eriksen are more of a relief than a sadness.

last year was the pain...not winning away from home for a year, sacking a beloved manager, forced to sell Eriksen at a discount without replacing him, our full backs being poor AND having no cover for them. Fighting/scrapping to finish 6th.

If by balanced you mean we have 80 players for a 25 man squad then yeah I agree
Its feckin great fun though get em all in let em fight it out show the losers the door later

We still have our TV money our largest income stream so with the handle we've got on our wage to turnover % we can take advantage and make these purchases.

All so positive, id rather we go for a striker in the WW mould than an Ings. We have Bale back, id love Modric to add that calmness and experience to the midfield ...his reading of the game would compensate for the potential issues that may come with his age.

two runners off Kane was dreadful today. We were far mor effective when Son went more central to directly like with Kane. Moura was a passenger all game. Didn’t join as a front three or drop when defending to help protect the back 4 and midfield

Thanks for the ITK. It's interesting how D1 calls Dele out but Rebrab snuffs it. Also tasty info from Herc.
Between the various ITK, it feels like the striker is between Vinicius and Wout. However, Edouard has been hammered on about by D1 and he was on the money for Reg, so who knows?!

It’s really very obvious.
Jose, like most managers, has always admired Dele. He wanted Woodward to sign him at United.
So of course he’s going to come in, big him up, and challenge him to recapture the form and performances he’s been capable of in the past.
Dele, quite simply, has not met the challenge aside from a handful of occasions.
If Dele was performing regularly, there would be no “U turn”.
The manager challenges players to prove their worth, and gives them the opportunity to do so. Some will, some won’t. See also: Tanguy Ndombele.
This shouldn't be too much for anyone to wrap their head around
