As the press are now reporting villa are outbidding us on Watkins , we are still talking to brentford but I don’t see us paying 30 million for back up

king was the deal was around 12 million for back up

ings was 45 , burnley wanted a lot for woods and the other player I’ve been mentioning is 40 , we have not bought a decent striker since Berbs , soldado and Jansen were disasters
the problem is strikers cost a lot of money and we dont seem to have a willing board , we are being out spent by Newcastle and villa and Everton have spent 75 million this week

levys official line is you know there is Covid and no crowds , I honestly think in Enic 20th season even our most reasonable supporters Patience is going to wear thin

Here is the problem - stop looking for a back up, and start looking for someone to come in and make the starting 11 more competitive.

Honestly think Kane could form a fantastic partnership with someone as he's incredibly good at dropping off and playmaking.

I just fail to believe we'll leave ourselves short again with Jose at the helm, I mean they know it's a huge issue, there's a giant documentary on Amazon that let's us know they're aware of it. I think it's going to be a wait and see but I have to believe we've got something brewing.

How have we gone from possibly 2 strikers to none in less than 12 hours?

There’s still a month of the window left, and deals to be had. Let’s chill and save the tantrums for October

I couldn't find the bit where he actually said we were going for 2 strikers, just posters saying he said 2 strikers.

In fairness to Levy, our biggest problem is that Newcastle and Villa have somehow been sneaking fans in to their games. We can't compete with that extra revenue.

Money for 2 low priced ones if we sell some players I think, or just 1 low priced one if not selling many. Just not wanting/got money to spend big on a backup striker.

Eerily quiet on our usual ITK front (other than the Goats bleat the other day) Who knows?
