Bloody Judas on the panel. He adds no value to any useful insight or analysis.
Is it because there are no through balls, or because our forwards have stopped making off-the-ball runs? Chicken and egg, I guess. That would require that our forwards receive the ball in areas where they can shoot. That hasn't been happening more than once or twice a match. They're prowling around in front of the back four, but there are no penetrating through balls and most of the zillion crosses from the right are delayed so long that everyone is marked.
That city-game was my last match at the lane... great memoriesAgree. The pressing was insane in that match. I reckon this match and when we did Man City 2-0 in Pep’s first season were my favourite Poch performances.
It's a derby. Losing is never OK. It's never not important.
I know, what you are getting at but can you guarantee a manager change after this or do we wait for next season?
I'll make my decision after I hear
Freund. Zokora.Figured out a new Sissoko sanity check: how far back do you have to go to remember any CM with worse control of the ball who played for us?
I started watching regularly with Jol, and nobody comes to mind. This has to be quite significant regading how 'good' he is overall.
In my long post earlier in the thread, I suggested that our forwards haven't got the confidence to make runs because they rightly don't trust anyone to get the ball into an area. So yeah, chicken, egg and omelette. Is it because there are no through balls, or because our forwards have stopped making off-the-ball runs? Chicken and egg, I guess.
Thats what I going to be doing actually. Ive got a report to write and its actually going to be more interesting than watching us play...I might just watch this thread on refresh instead of the match, it’s going to be dynamite in here.
How can successive managers not see that a Sissoko-Winks pairing is a clusterfuck?
